We are so so sad to loose you and hope you can reopen somewhere else another time. Best food? Best service!

Well!!! Got to go there for dinner/happy hour. What a great place!! Awesome food and great service. The food was phenomenal. It’s not hardcore mainland Chinese but is more bistro/ gourmet that I love so much. The salt and pepper pork and salt and pepper calamari were over the top. Loved the Kungpao chix—as good as my favorite place. The spicy green beans and the crispy prawns were excellent. And an incredibly reasonable wine list with great selections. Chuck Wagner’s Conundrum white for $28 a bottle—an excellent wine with Chinese food. $7 a glass on happy hour. Don’t miss this!!!!Great service too! Left a 25% tip.I will call them about updating their hours. …and finally got to go. Don’t miss it. They really need to update their Google maps information. It said they were open 11 AM to 8 PM and when I called at 1:30 PM they said they were closed and not open till 5 PM. Kind of stinks! Was looking forward to this

Very disappointed! Really wanted to have lunch there And their hours on both yelp and Google maps said they were open 11 AM to 8 PM. When I called at 1:30 about a table for lunch, a rude and then on the phone said no. They really should update things.

The food was excellent with great service. Our appetizers came out with little to no wait time. I order salmon bites that were cooked to perfection and was tempted to order a second round. I will definitely return to this restaurant and recommend friends as well!

From the moment we walked in we had such a nice experience! Wonderful surprise! Food was excellent & fresh. It was presented beautifully, the staff was very kind & we received great service. Thanks Sungari Pearl- I wish we had your restaurant closer to where we live.

Had wonderful dinner with family who were visiting from out of town - the food was delicious (especially the General Tsao’s chicken and string beans) and the staff was very kind and accommodating. We called ahead to reserve a table since we needed a quieter table and were going to have a baby with us and they set us up in the back which was perfect. The staff were so sweet with the baby too :) Definitely recommend!

We’ve ordered here a handful of times during the pandemic. Three times we have ordered online when we’ve gone to pickup the meal they are unaware of the order or a half hour behind. Consistently, the website gives approx 1 hour from order to pickup so waiting (at least) another half hour is absurd. They have never once offered any sort of discount or even refunded the 20% tip we’ve given for the horrible service. They are plenty nice and Im sure mean well, but I have a family to feed and this is not acceptable. Sorry to say, we won’t be returning. Too unreliable for the expense.

Friendly staff. Great food. Fun time with the family for a birthday dinner. Even helped bring out the birthday cake we brought and sliced it up for us.

The staff and setting are nice - but the food has absolutely no flavor and is incredibly overpriced. It’s clear they have a high overhead and can’t or won’t invest in quality ingredients. The drinks are priced like strong upscale cocktails but come out tasting like kool-aid. The chicken lettuce wraps came out looking like gross wet dog food. Why would you put a wet soupy mix into a lettuce cup? Beats me. The dumplings were doughy and absolutely tasteless. Pretty disappointed that this place couldn’t even outdo PF Changs. Portland needs more flavor.

We were out walking at lunch time and checking menus. We came across this Japanese style restaurant and decided to try it out. Tables were well spaced apart. The very high ceiling allows for lots of air circulation. The wait staff was very efficient polite and unobtrusive. The corn, chicken and crab soup was most delicious with the strong flavor of fresh corn punctuated with fresh crab as it came into the spoon in big chunks. This soup for two with the addition of a little bread would probably have been a very ample lunch for us, but no, we also ordered the fried prawns and the beef with vegetables dish which also came with quantities of white rice. We split the four large and delicious prawns between us and were able to eat less than half of the beef dish. The rest we took home became our lunch the next day, delicious. That this was the first time we had sat down in a restaurant in a year probably influences this review, but the soup really was spectacular and the other dishes wonderful as well. Highly recommended, but leave a table for us. We will be back....

This place is fantastic. Some of the best Chinese food in Portland. The sesame beef and salt and pepper fried rice are unusually delicious
