Food is excellent. We had special appetizer mussels with chorizo, peppers etc. Also sea scallops were great. Servers attentive and well informed
Food is consistently excellent and the service is excellent. Easily my favorite restaurant in Portland,
Wonderful service. Great food. Very thoughtful servers including a rover helper! Will definitely revisit.
My fiancé and I really enjoyed our dinner at Serratto. We opened a bottle of Pinot and started with the burrata and prosciutto. She enjoyed the squid ink pasta while I enjoyed the pappardelle with a beef cheek ragu. We both enjoyed the lamb for our main course and we shared the tiramisu. The food was delicious. The table was perfectly intimate. The atmosphere was warm, cheerful, and romantic. The hostess was very friendly and inviting and our server Sarah was delightful and very sweet. Sarah served us a complimentary glass of champagne for us to celebrate our engagement. We will definitely dine here again!
Julia was a fabulous server. Chianti wine on spot. Risotto and leg of lamb both delicious.
Our server was great, she was patient and knowledgeable. The food was delicious. We will definitely come back again!
Uhmmmm... we've had better meals here. Came as a party of 4 and none of us loved our food. My Bouillabaisse had a strange flavor, the grain under one person's scallops was dry. The other person got a butternut squash ravioli. It was spicy! And not advertised as such. And my husbands rigatoni that was labeled as spicy was ok, but boring! The wines, and cocktails were nice. Waitress was friendly. The woman who brought our waters never answered our greetings nor looked at us. The music was loud,so as hard to hear across tge table. I guess you could say the dinner was a bust! Go for an appetizer, and a drink, but skip the meal and be prepared to talk loudly over the tunes!
One of my fave restaurants in Portland for many, many years. Food, people, and atmosphere. Love it!
Outstanding food and service. Stroganoff and the scallops that we had was awesome and the garlic ciabotta bread is our favorite. A really good tiramisu topped it off.

Noise is over the top! They could add some discreet acoustic panels, but my guess is that if they haven't done so by now, they don't care if they lose customers. I will go back, but NEVER again on a Friday or Saturday night when the number of diners is high. Honestly, as good as the food was, it was kind of a waste of $400 as we spent the entire 2.25 hours saying "huh"?....or. .."say that again?"....
Serrato is located in Delphina's old footprint. The food and the service are excellent. My only complaint- the restaurant is NOISY!! I had to cup my hands around my mouth to talk to my friends across the table. Ugh. DO NOT come here for an intimate dinner. Or, come early and do Happy Hour.

Great food and great service. Nice variety of Italian dishes on the menu. Love the garlic ciabatta bread.
As usual, Ordered beet salad The beets had the worst texture. Mushy. Overcooked. The kale salad either wasn't massaged and/or chiffonade was too wide. Raviolis were very good. Light and veggie forward. Tuna tartare ordered for main. Too much creamy stuff between layers made it quite heavy. Raddiatore always excellent. Expensive for quality.
We had an excellent time at Serrato celebrating our anniversary! Our server was absolutely amazing, ensuring we had a a special evening. Great table tucked in a quiet nook. We'll be back!
