donuts are so so, but $6 for a old fashioned and a cinnamon roll is absurd.. yes not a dozen, but 2 donuts were $6, quick google search and the avg cost to make a donut is 12 cents, so let’s just say for sake of argument the cinnamon rolls are more so these 2 donuts cost 50 cents to make, you are talking about a 12x markup…ridiculous and I will not be back

This place use to be a staple for my family! What happened!? I wouldn't be leaving this review if I had received a refund and a little respect. I purchased baklava, a donut and a breakfast sandwich. The sandwich had wax paper melted into the bottom of the bagel. When I asked for a refund, they did not provide one but rather I was offered to trade for more donuts and baklava, both of which I already had. So I ended up paying for a sandwich with no refund because they would have had to get a code from a manager for a refund. Just a bunch of eye rolling from employee that forgot that they said "yes" to the job they are now failing at. Won't go here ever again. P.s.- your new seating area is cramped and unaccommodating.

Sesame Donuts was founded in 1987 by an immigrant from Sierra Leone and is one of the Portland area’s oldest donut chains. They’ve been around longer than Blue Star, Coco, Pip’s, Doe and a most other local donut chains. Sesame has almost been around as long as Voodoo Donut. Currently they have 10 mostly suburban locations with a few in the city.Got two each of Oreo, M&M Yum, Sid’s Special, Lemoncello, Toasted Coconut and Portland Cream

Great selection of donuts including the unique, less sweet sesame donut! Also have delicious fresh baklava and croissants. Only place I know that has real almond croissants!

Where my complaint has nothing to do with the food or the staff, as Sesame donuts are always, my favorite! This one star, review is regarding their Uber Eats/ DoorDash apps. In these apps, you are unable to select multiple, of the same donut. You can only choose 1 of and one flavor. It makes it extremely frustrating, if I want three maple bars... plus, there is no section where you can write a note to the bakery to let them know. Also, there is not clear information on these apps of which location is which. To the owner, please update the apps so we can request our store that we like, yours, as well as have the ability to purchase more than one of the same donut.

Their regular coffee is absolutely horrible! It was not only cold but tasted like it was four or five days old even though it was apparently freshly brewed. The employee made me a new cup and it was also cold and tasted horrible. My donut on the other hand was amazing as always at Sesame Donuts. I paid $3.50 for one donut and a 12 oz cup of nasty coffee. Nothing could help this coffee be any better not even the creamer I put in it and sugar. And the cold temperature was before I added creamer.

Took my donuts Togo. But customer service was not my best experience. I came in right after a mom and her son got their items and the counter person went to make a phone call around the corner. I'm sure she didn't see me and the phone call was important, but she didn't apologize for making me wait. I wasn't going to make a comment but this keeps popping up for me to comment on my experience. So I thought for training purposes to remind employees if you are away from your front counter always acknowledge the customer and say sorry for your wait.
