Owner who greeted me was very friendly and hospitable. The meat was very tender. I didn't taste any seasoning on the meat. Focus seems to be on the sauce because the meat itself has no smokiness. Well portioned for the price.
I got this food through Uber Eats and I can confidently say this is the worst BBQ I've ever had in my life! The Carolina Gold sauce was mostly mustard no sweetness to it at all. The Brisket was tough, good brisket should melt in your mouth. The beans had no sweetness to them whatsoever they just tasted like liquid smoke and had crunchy green peppers in them. The ribs were mostly gristle. It came with bread, I was expecting Texas toast or something similar and I got 2 slices of untoasted wheat bread with no butter. Overall everything was completely bland. I've been a cook for 12 years working at many steak houses and BBQ joints and this takes the cake for the worst BBQ I've ever had. Applebee's has better BBQ!!!

Excellent
Be careful what you order. You may not get what you expect and for the price, you don't expect wieners, nor a server who lacks the courteous to offer a replacement.
The fried chicken came from Albertsons, the greens tasted burnt, the Mac and cheese was had no taste and the cheese was processed. The ribs were cold and cooked in the over not on the Grilled on the grill. The potato salad was store bought. I really wanted to enjoy this food. I paid 28.00 and gave a 5$ tip.
Would be 5 stars if they didn’t take their Nachos they used to sell off the menu.
Great BBQ with very reasonable proces
Best BBQ I have had in the Portland area.
It's one of those places you'll drive by 100 times wondering how it is. Answer is pretty damn good. Friendly service. Brisket sandwich was hefty but smoked very well. Didn't try and pawn off some over cooked jerky swimming in bbq sauce like a lot of places will. Will be back when I'm in the area.

I love seven rivers, i wish i had the opportunity to order from them more often. The staff are always super friendly and clearly love their community. The ribs are amazing but my favorite addiction is definitely their brisket sandwich and their sausage.
Truly a hidden gem of portland, food, atmosphere, and people are amazing.
Pro tip: if you get the mac salad, add a little bbq sauce to it- savory delicious!
This place is legit! Lovely owners, AMAZING food, good service, big portions. Don't be fooled by it's tuck away location and proximity to gas station. This is a must try.
This is the place I recommend to people wanting real good BBQ cooking. The brisket is darn near perfect, and you can ask for lean, fatty, or mixed. The sausage is a great kielbasa style. Daily meats available change a bit but usually they have brisket, chicken, pork, sausages. Simple picnic sides with good flavor come with every plate.
Not only was this the best meal i have had since I moved out of my parents house, but i was really touched by the warmth and familiarity of the entire staff. What an incredible group of restaurateurs. I will definitely be back anytime i come to Portland. Thank you!
