It’s good, but I accidentally made an order yesterday, I didn’t know they were close.. and I order some food, trying to call but no answer. I was charged for the order yesterday about $30…

I had the Hawaiian garlic chicken lunch plate and it was delicious. Crispy chicken thighs in an amazing garlic flavor so good. Really good but small restaurant.

It would have been nice to have a sign up saying you would be closed on Christmas Eve at 12:00 pm noon!

Kid-friendliness: I'm sure kids are welcome here. There's high chairs and it's a very laid back vibe with sweet Hawaiian music for the kids (and adults) to dance to!

Small and nicely decorated. The menu was slim pick'ns. My husband had teriyaki chicken plate lunch and I did the pork. It was ok. The Mac salad is a bit dry. The chicken wasn't the highest quality. The pork was pretty good. Limited drink selection, only bottled water. Family run and very friendly. Even with a lower rating my husband said he would totally go back!!

New to the area, so was hoping to find another good spot. Had high hopes due to it giving that HITW feel. Sadly, that wasn’t the case here. Food smelled better than it tasted.

The Mac salad had next to no flavor, same with the Katsu. The garlic shrimp was okay, the dollop of topping on the rice was amazing.

For the price, we were hoping the experience would’ve been something we’d be eager to have again

I bought some chicken katsu from this location and to be honest everything was pretty much fine. It was just the seaweed garnish on top of the rice balls. They tasted very fishy. I didn't like it. 9/4/2024

I recently door dashed from Shaka Brah Grill and had a mixed experience. The Mac Salad was quite bland and didn’t leave a lasting impression. As for the Kalua Pig , I found it to be underwhelming and not up to my expectations. However, the Hawaiian Garlic Chicken stood out as a highlight of the meal; it was absolutely delicious! I’ll definitely be coming back just for that dish.

I really liked their Hawaiian Garlic Chicken, but the Mac Salad was dry and tasted like cooked plain macaroni. First Hawaiian grill I've tried that had a really bad Mac Salad. Didn't get my banana cake with my order either but that I'm not sure if the driver failed or the restaurant since there was only 1 bag and it was tied off.

This is a small little restaurant tucked away in the corner of a car park you will miss if you don't notice. I ordered the Filipino Style BBQ Plate and 2 pork skewers. The portions and taste were good but the thicker parts of the pork skewers (from the BBQ Plate) were not cooked. I wish they make it better next time.

Very small, more about take-out and catering. After years of living in the area I was surprised to finally see this place open ...

Definitely wanted to give it a try so I've gone a couple of times. Staff is nice and friendly, food has been solid and decent thus far. They make the traditional Hawaiian Mac too - which is up to par, no shredded carrots, tastes like it should but maybe a touch less flavor punch (maybe lack of salt?), maybe light on the ingredient so it's not heavy. Tried their ribs and chicken, pretty darn good, very similar to local 808, Roxy and Best Teriyaki but with a little better pricing, also tasting like it should but with a little less of that magical flavor being lighter on the sauces ... Ribs and chicken were cooked just right, seasoning wasn't heavy and there were fried shrimp in the combo instead of veggies, which was a nice taste. Although I do like some veggies. Decent to average portion size, only thing really missing is a sauce bar or extra sauces on the table like most other places offer. They have extra teriyaki sauce, but you have to ask, not sure if they have hot Sriracha rooster sauce. Most of the meals and meats are made to order so it takes a little longer since they aren't sitting around in a warming pan all day. If you've got the itch for some decent teriyaki or Hawaiian ... this place is pretty good. Solid 4 out of 5.

I want to live this place. That doesn't mean it happens unfortunately. 45+ min wait after ordering while I watch food sir like it's a buffet. The didn't take a name, give a number... anything to ID whose food was whose. Nowhere to sit while we wait. Can't go to car, etc since they didn't communicate with you. 1/3 + of what I asked for on the mend they didn't have. Last time over a year ago I was here. Same story. Super SAD
