A small, cozy spot that definitely deserves a solid 4.5. We tried the lamb gyro, burnt end beef, and chicken kebab with mejadara rice—all were pretty good!

Lil Shalom has the tastiest falafel in Portland. There humus isn’t half bad either. Lovely friendly staff, always willing to answer any questions you may have. Well worth a visit.

Super small space so I recommend doing take out but like the other Sesame Collective locations the flavors, quality of food, and customer service are superb.
They have a menus marked up for allergies/dietary restrictions (gluten and vegan).
We got the hummus with burnt beef ends (possibly their best dish, were obsesses) and Chicken Shwarma, they swapped cucumbers for pita for me and I was still so full I didn't even miss the pita. Plus it was so flavorful!

Relatively small, quiet place. The falafel and the hummus were good, the pita bread fantastic. Good for a quiet, quick meal

Kicked up middle eastern fare with a personality. Loved the octopus, the pita, the wine selection...

We went here because our favorite Moroccan place was closed. They are a bit on the pricey side but they have delicious, fresh fare in a quaint setting.

Parking: Paid, street, hard to find, typical PDX parking situation.

The brisket hummus with pillowy pita is heavenly and has ensured my return for years. Turkish coffee is always good.

One of the best Mediterranean place and food that I have had in PNW. I stopped here while visiting Portland with my friend. Their Turkish coffee is delicious! Excellent Food, ambiance, staff.

Sadly, the meat on top of the hummus was so very fatty and nearly unchewable. The staff is so very sweet. The hummus part was so delicious though. I just didn't care for the meat at all. I should have got the vegetarian option with the mushroom on top instead. Everything else was spectacular!!
