Always excellent food, quality, and service! And of course, that ACTUAL peppercorned deep fried chili taste from Sichuan!

I really love the food there. The only thing is that they forget to put chopsticks into my delivery

Been coming here every summer for years, it was my third time coming and the food was mediocre. I do almost always tip my waitresses and was planning to on this occasion as well, until my little sister paid for her meal and I paid for mine. Mind you the waitress was rude and talked to me like I was stupid the entire time we were there. After we paid for our meals the waitress mentions “the tip wasn’t included in the bill”. Ok great got it. I’ll get to it once I’m done talking, but instead of leaving us alone she stands at the end of our table waiting. My little sister gets nervous and hands her a 5 dollar bill, and they she sits and waits for me to fill out my credit card paper tip. I refuse to do it with her standing over me watching and I left her nothing. I was going to tip her even after the terrible service but sitting and WAITING for me to fill it out? Pressuring my little sister into it? Absolutely insane and we will not be returning.

Food was just okay, nothing amazing by any means. The waitress did not seem like she wanted to be there let alone take our order which made for a weird atmosphere.

I recently dined at Sichuan Taste, and it was an unforgettable experience—in the best way. From the moment we walked in, the fragrant spices in the air hinted at the bold flavors to come. The restaurant had a warm, bustling atmosphere, and the staff were friendly and attentive without being overbearing.
We started with the spicy wontons in chili oil, and they were phenomenal—delicately wrapped, perfectly cooked, and swimming in a sauce that delivered heat with flavor, not just fire. The mapo tofu was a standout: silky tofu in a rich, complex sauce with that signature numbing kick from Sichuan peppercorns. It was everything I hoped for and more.
Another favorite was the dry-fried green beans—crisp, savory, and just the right amount of salty. Every dish we tried felt thoughtfully prepared, with generous portions and vibrant ingredients.
If you’re a fan of authentic, fiery Sichuan cuisine, Sichuan Taste is a must-visit. Just be ready for some serious spice! (Pro tip: order the jasmine tea—it pairs beautifully with the heat.)

Would definitely come back to explore more of the menu!
This place is the most authentic Sichuan restaurant I have had privilege at eating at in the PNW, outside of Myth in Richmond, B.C. Indeed, whenever I am in a larger city, I look for a place that makes Tengjiaoyu (green Sichuan pepper fish). This spicy and numbing dish alone was worth the three hour drive to Portland! We also ordered soup dumplings, pork fried rice, dry fried string beans, Dan Dan noodles, General Tso, Sichuan Pork Wonton w.Chili Oil, & Sichuan Popcorn Chicken. Every dish was absolutely superb. I wish I was in town for a couple more days so I can try the dry pot Frog. It was very clear that the food was prepared freshly. I will be back!
This place called to my friend the night before so we wandered in for lunch without knowing anything and it exceeded all expectations! Great service great, great food, nice big spot! Super happy we swung by. Do NOT skip the crispy Szechuan fish.

Below average food. Beware: they added an extra tip afterward. They don’t give you a copy of receipt. I only caught it because I took a pic of receipt before leaving. Very dishonest and illegal behavior.
Ate here for the first time today. I've been to Sichuan many times, so I feared disappointment. In fact, the food (spicy fish pot) was very good and had great flavor. Only mildly spicy, but I guess I'll ask for extra spicy next time. Definitely going back.
Food was absolutely amazing. My partner and I got Cashew Chicken, Sichuan Fried Fish, and Soup Dumplings to share. We both can eat quite a bit, and we were stuffed leaving this place. Portions were big, so you don't necessarily need the side of rice. Food came out super hot and very quick as well, though we arrived around 3:15pm. All around, a place we'll want to try out again (we were so hungry and the food was so good we forgot to take photos).

You'd go for the food but not the service. For example, no water was brought out. Felt less like a family style sit down restaurant and more like eating in at a fast food joint.
