“Since visiting Shanghai, we look for Sheng Jian Bao every time we go to a city that might have it. For us, these hit the spot really well. Not quite soupy, but somehow it didn’t matter (and prior to eating these I would have said it absolutely mattered). We had 24 hours in Portland and came twice and got some to go for on the plane. For an amazing food city where we had some tremendous dining, this flavor-wise was still remarkably yummy. Ambiance wasn’t noteworthy, but we sat at tables outside in gorgeous weather and honestly didn’t care about the setting as we slurped these down.“

“Client recommended we go here for lunch and I wasn't disappointed. Everything came out family style so it was fun being able to order a bunch of different things and try it all. We had wontons, shoa mai, broccoli, green beans, hot and sour soup, and a few different soup dumplings. Everything was made to order, came out periodically so we never had too many ch on the table at one time, and everything was the perfect temperature to eat right away. Great flavor, nice presentation even only coming out in the steamer basket. Service was spot on, never needing to ask for refills or to remove empty dishes and the price was perfect for a group lunch, coming in right around $25-$30 per person. It is located in the basement of the pioneer mall, is clean, and the atmosphere was perfect for an easy lunch conversation.“

“So happy to find reasonable pricing for really good dumplings! This was our first visit; the server was kind, made recommendations, and answered questions well. We ordered an assortment of items, and everything was good, some were amazing. My husband fell in love with the cucumber salad, and brothy bun. The only drawback was noise level; we were in mid day, 3:30ish, and were surprised how the voices carried in the room. Not only did it make the room loud, I felt a little self conscious. Outside of that, I would absolutely recommend a visit for some great food!“
