The menu on Google Maps is from years ago. Misleading!
“Do a few things but do them very well”— menu is not overwhelming with options; a good selection of items and they are very well made and presented. Paired with a great environment in the pet friendly “Pavillion”- the owner made us out of towners feel at home with great food and conversation! Would definitely visit anytime i pass through the Portland area.

New favorite. I recommend getting a bit of everything. Momo, chow mein, and chicken chili are just a few highlights. Great price for quality protein
Absolutely Outstanding — A Hidden Gem!
Sherpa Kitchen is hands-down one of the best culinary experiences we’ve had in Portland. The momos are out of this world — perfectly steamed, flavorful, and probably some of the best we’ve ever eaten anywhere. Each bite was packed with authentic Himalayan flavor, and the chutney alongside? Perfection.
We also tried the daal bhat, and it was soulful, comforting, and delicious — just the right balance of spices and homestyle warmth. You can taste the care and tradition in every dish. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the staff is kind and attentive without being overbearing.
Whether you’re familiar with Nepali cuisine or trying it for the first time, Sherpa Kitchen is a must-visit. We left full, happy, and already planning our next trip back. Highly, highly recommended!

Just what the doctor ordered. It was quite good! A nice find.
Have loved Sherpa kitchen ever since they had their food cart.. But, ever since the owners have stepped away and hired others, the experience went down hill. From the despicable attitude the cashier had this evening to the under cook food. If we must pay for the hot sauce then we will pay for the hot sauce, but to not even have the tiny container filled half way, is ridiculous. Sad goodbye to one of our favorite spots.

Newly opened sherpa house with very good interior and atmosphere in SF. We got couple of appetizers among which explosive chicken was very good, Everest wings had a unique flavor. Delicious Butter chicken and very soft garlic naan tasted like home made food with perfect amount of spices.

This place is AMAZING! Took my wife here for a dinner date to try food from Nepal for the first time, and Sherpa has set a VERY high standard for Nepalese food. Not only that, but it’s so well priced with fresh, quality ingredients. 20 out of 10.

The momo filling had a great flavor with a delicious soup inside. But The Shaphaley dough was a bit tough and hard to chew. Overall, the food was great
