The chicken and rice dish is all I have ordered and I have had it many times. I have Hashimoto’s (gluten intolerant) and the chicken and rice dish is one of my favorite comfort foods. It’s a mood lifter, a warm, soft blanket, a healing experience. I recommend eating in-house for the full experience. It’s the lentil soup mixing with the curry chicken and white rice that does it for me. All in a bowl together, but each in its own zone, too.
A little backstory first I originally went to the Coconut Garden Thai Kitchen I placed my order paid for my food had a couple beers and waited 40 minutes, then I went up to inquire to see if my food was ready or how long it would be and they told me a few minutes so I went and sat back down then the guy running the register found me and asked me what my order was, evidently they never put my order in so I asked for a refund and went and placed a order with sherpa kitchen, the...
“Do a few things but do them very well”— menu is not overwhelming with options; a good selection of items and they are very well made and presented. Paired with a great environment in the pet friendly “Pavillion”- the owner made us out of towners feel at home with great food and conversation! Would definitely visit anytime i pass through the Portland area.
