New owner is a failed real estate investor who stepped in and ruined another business. Maybe don't buy a successful business when you hold over 40mil in debt from a failed real estate venture.

Tried to change everything after an agreement not to. Instead of getting a steady income stream he broke the business.

New owners lowered the employees wages. Scum

I sincerely hope the workers of Shoofly are able to buy this bakery from the new owner and avoid running it into the ground. Their baked goods are fantastic and the workers are so kind. Nobody makes a vegan sticky bun like Shoofly does. I've never had a vegan scone that rivaled any non vegan butter filled scone until I had one from them. They truly have taken the craft of baking and perfected a new way of making these delicious treats. I wish you all so much luck in this endeavor! D@mn the man! ✊

Pay your workers!

Good food but the staff are rude, unhelpful and impatient with customers. Some people think you're doing them a favor by eating at their establishment. They're wrong lol. Learn to treat your customers properly.

Great pastries and decent coffee. I got a cinnamon roll which had a great texture and a lovely glaze.

I’ve been here at least ten times and rarely had a bad meal. It used to be that their savory options weren’t as good as the sweet, but based on today’s quiche they’ve ironed out all the quirks. I can wholeheartedly recommend every single thing. Also: outdoor seating when it’s not freezing, and some employees mask! #Veganuary

We tried their espresso, and some sweet and savory options here. Everything was good! My partner especially liked the sticky bun and green bean casserole handpie. I really liked the quiche and side salad with lemon vinaigrette. I was so pleased they had so many savory options, and I only regret I couldn’t try all 3 of the quiches. I suspect we’ll be back in future trips. #Veganuary

All of their goodies are the best! I recommend biscuits and gravy.

The cafe space is ideal for a read in morning. On top of that it's one of the few places where I've found the drip coffee to be nutty and non acidic.

Shoofly provided deserts for my wedding and I would recommend them to anyone and everyone, vegan or not! The flavour and texture of each type of cupcake and the wedding cake itself were perfect. My wife and I, as well as all of our guests, were completely blown away!
