Short Round / Crying Tigers

It was very moody bar vibes and not really restaurant. The food was mid and quite pricy for Vietnamese. I ordered the beef wrap in grape leaf and nothing else with it was weird. Usually is a wrap type dish but gave a side of pickle veg the spring rolls mid no noodles just meat and veg, the bun? Alright but again ratio is so weird. Wings was alright, little burnt but idk would I go again? No. Name was cute tho.

Their hot basil fish wings are a level of dank I thought was only possible from being buzzed, and yet I was sober for this experience.

Nice place to go for a later night snack. I ordered the crispy rolls and the chive cakes, yummy.
The service was excellent and the bartender was friendly and accommodating and made me a custom non-alcoholic beverage while I waited for my food:)

I visited Vietnam a few years ago on a food tour, and this food tasted just like that. We had the Bún with Bò Lá Lốt, the Chả Giò Crispy Rolls, the Gỏi Cuốn Salad Rolls, and the crispy pork belly. The flavors are really interesting and pungent (in a good way) and herby, their housemade fish sauce is perfect, we loved it all. It’s the best Vietnamese food I’ve had in the USA. I can’t wait to eat here again.

Deeply love this place, been coming here for years. I don't think I have had a bad experience or bad food. The Tigers wings has ruined wings pretty much everywhere else for me and they have the best Bahn Mi I have ever had.

Loved everything about Crying Tigers. We shared the massaman-style curry (so frickin good) and garden rolls, and had a couple creative and excellent cocktails. Reasonable prices, very good service, chill atmosphere.

Pho broth is amazing, don't like the fact you are to pay for extra sauce because the tiny amount they give you with the pho. But the food is great!

... Absolute fire. Got Pho, szechuan pepper wings, Grilled pork lettuce rolls, and sweet potato fries and two GREAT drinks with my girl. Music selection is dope as hell. Name a bar that has better vietnamese food and a wider selection up to midnight with their level of care and customer service. I'll wait...

... Probably will be growing grays by the time you come back. 😂

10/10 always recommend. Second time back and will keep coming back.
