Wonderful spot for a late night bite! Came here with a friend after being out seeing music, we got bah mi to eat in and then I also got a vegetable and rice dish to take home. We're both vegetarian; there's a decent selection and what we had was all super delicious. The sweet potato fries that come with the sandwich were some of the best I've ever had (and I'm picky about my sweet potato fries).
Service was friendly, prompt, and accommodating. Environment is nice but still comfortable and casual enough to be at ease. There's 4 TVs playing different things, felt a bit brain rot over stimulation-u, but they were all muted so it wasn't intrusive.
Great place!

Have yet to receive a (squid to veggie proportion) it seems to have a good texture and flavor but having to look for a peppered salted squid on the order was far fr9m my chipsticks..like the place..not going to have this dish ruin it...enjoy tho..good peppered salted jalapeños and veggies tho😅

This place rocks! The staff is warm and helpful. Lights are dim and it’s vibey. Drinks are great - they make their own ginger beer! Food is top notch - just ask for suggestions based on what you’re in the mood for. All around thoughtful and special place; not to be missed!

We love to come here after a night out and grab some late night pho. Very tasty, staff is nice, we love it.
We waited 1,5 hours for our delivery and then they canceled on us.

Short Round / Crying Tigers is a lively, modern spot known for its bold flavors and trendy vibe. The menu often features Asian-fusion dishes with a focus on grilled meats and punchy sauces. “Crying Tigers” (spicy marinated steak) is a standout—tender, flavorful, and well-balanced with heat. The cocktails are creative, and the casual-chic setting makes it great for groups or a fun night out. Portions are generous, prices are fair, and service is generally friendly and attentive. A solid choice for adventurous eaters looking for bold tastes.

Yet another delicious meal in Portland. Perfectly prepared food paired with delicious house made ginger beer. Food came quickly and nice quiet atmosphere.

Holy smokes the phô is phenomenal— I had the filet mignon and my sister had the veggie and it was the best phô I have ever had in my life! She said hers was top 10 (taking into account it’s not the meat broth). We had had leftovers, the bowls are large! My boyfriend had the crispy pork belly Yaki Soba and it was also phenomenal— the sauce was so good. Everything smelled so good we dove right in and didn’t get any photos but the atmosphere is nice as well!
The only downside was Pee-Wee’s Playhouse on in the background… dredged up some serious childhood memories 😅

Went during wing week and came back 3 times! Their dry rub truffle wings were to die for! I hope they put this on their menu permanently!

I had the pho & original sticky wings— both seasoned well and had appropriate textures.
the pho broth was a bit salty as is, but once I added all veggies and hoisin, it reminded me of home and my mom’s. for a late night pho, I’d much rather come here than luc lac.
the wings were a good balance between sticky and saucy— perfect flavor for me.
the interior decorating made me miss SE asia and was reminiscent of my childhood. the movies on all four tv’s were entertaining and old school, the music was 90s flavored hip hop and rap— everything about this place feels like an viet/thai american experience.
my only complaint is to be given to go chopsticks when I dined in.

The chest-flashing in this restaurant is outrageous. It’s like being trapped in a strip show, with just enough coverage to pretend it’s not extreme, but everyone can see through it. Having to be exposed to it is equal parts cringe and revolting.
The atmosphere is ruined, turning it into a distracting spectacle. It’s unprofessional, tacky, and makes dining here uncomfortable.

I came here to celebrate a small birthday and wasn’t expecting much, as I had been here years ago and the food was underwhelming back then. Cute and small restaurant/bar with Asian street market vibes. The staff was friendly and patient with us. Most of our party hadn’t been here before. The drinks we had were good. We all had the pineapple jalapeño margarita. Majority of us ordered the wings because we kept hearing from our friends they had the best wings and wow, they were right. The tiger wings were amazing. Crispy, crunchy, juicy and the seasoning was so good. I also ordered a rice plate and that was also delicious. Everything was packed with flavor. We will definitely be back again soon for more wings and other items!
