I ordered the special sandwich of the day and the flavor punched me in the face with a bang. I only came in because I had about an hour of my life to waste and I read a review that someone waited 25 minutes for their food. I knew right then that this was the place to eat and waste time. Another reviewer stated that the bread was amazing. I doubted it until I had a bite of the sandwich. This bread is amazingly delicious. Your mouth will be so happy as your belly thanks you for this great treat. Don't just walk by the place. Head in and eat something good.

Sandwiches are extremely good, but the best thing I've had to date is the Caesar salad. This salad may seem slightly unconventional, but swear to God it's the best version of a Caesar. The eggs are perfectly cooked, the added chicken was well cooked and not dry, and the greens were exactly what they should have been

I happened upon this place while in the neighborhood. Definitely a great spot! I had a meatball sandwich that was really good and some fries. The other menu items looked to be like good choices as well. The staff is friendly and pretty fast too. This is an excellent place to drop in and have great sammich.

Charming and casual. Food served up hot and quick, service was maybe a little too casual up front cause our drinks took a sec, but their bloodys are one of my new favs. Get the bomber and mix the peppers.

The chicken parmesan had wonderful sauce (coming from an Italian American) and was a large enough portion for a large meal, or to save for later. Came in and ordered a sandwich. The wait took 25 minutes, which I thought was unacceptable, so I went and complained to the manager. He told me extremely rudely to "SHUT UP AND EAT!" So I listened and ate my food. I made sure to leave a $50 tip because of that manager's nice comment. Was one of the best sandwich places I've ever been to, and the salads are beyond this world. Restaurant is very clean and the atmosphere is very fun. Would totally recommend.

I know it sounds weird but one of the reasons we came back to Portland was to try their sandwiches one more time. Their bread is out of the world amazing. Love their fresh ingredients and everything on the menu. They open at 11am and there is only street parking. Definitely try this place in a very quiet neighborhood. Love the service too.
Massive sandwiches that will leave you more than full! The use of unique and fresh ingredients is what sets this sandwich shop apart from the others. The Italian grinder and Meatball sandwich will assuage the appetite of any dedicated carnivore while the vegetarian sandwich will do the same for anyone looking to avoid animal protein. Both will definitely be delicious no matter what your predilections! Love this place! Great corner spot as well!
