Love eating at Silsila. The naan and curry consistency that we first found in Mt Shasta City can now be found closer to home in Portland. As with many of the best ethnic restaurants, the decor is basic as the focus is on the food. We've eaten in, had takeout, and had it delivered. Eating in or takeout is preferred since it's not far away for us. Tikka masala, daal, and naan are always great and the double curry special is a good deal. Staff are always friendly and helpful....
This was the perfect surprise for our anniversary dinner. Clean space with great mood music. The food was amazing we asked them to choose our meals, appetizers and drinks. Everything was amazingly flavorful. A huge thank you to our gentleman who waited on us he was very funny and extremely attentive.
I've been ordering lunch from here for several years now. The food is always good, the service is excellent, and it's one of the places I recommend to people in the area. My two favorite things are the Mango Tikka Masala and the Chili Cheese Naan. I'm a fan of spicy and I've never had a complaint about the food being too spicy or not spicy enough. Extra spicy is pretty hot... but I love it.
