Bartender was friendly, quick, and the drink was strong. Can't complain. Biggest downside is that the bar is cash only, but there is an ATM inside. I was there early enough in the day that the downstairs wasn't open yet, can't speak for how it is down there.
After moving back to the PDX area from living in the eastern part of the USA, I had to Google up Silverado as it wasn't at it's original location and I saw that it has moved to it's current location on 6th Ave. I ordered a beer here and was informed that it's CASH only. To my dismay and not having any cash on me using my phone to pay for everything, it is the year 2025. I had to walk some two blocks away to the US Bank to get cash from the ATM. This is my only complaint and the bartender was kind and provided good service, too.
I had fun for my first time in a male strip club. They were so sweet and fun. I just wish i had more $ when I came in wtf friends unexpectedly. 5☆
I have been a customer at every incarnation of this bar and love this newest one in NW. I just moved back to town and enjoyed ray or rains dancing very much he was amazing we chatted a bit upstairs and he was great. However, Van might be my new favorite bartender maybe even person in Portland.. we had the best conversation on a slow Wednesday night.. such an amazing human.. I’m glad this bar has survived and still continues to have great employees ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Unnecessarily rude security.
Going to Silverado for queer community is like spending your money at Chik-Fil-A. Not to mention dangerous for your health, and directly funding @bu$3 LETS GET IT TO IT! I was a dancer there for 1.5 years. My dancer name was Ryan Roslyn. In and around Dec 2023 one of the other dancers, whose name I won’t mention for obvious reasons, had to quietly take leave due to contracting a Staphylococcus infection. That dancer told management. They also privately told me, otherwise I wouldn’t have found out because MANAGEMENT NEVER INFORMED THE DANCERS. In spite of management requiring the sick dancer to provide medical evidence of the infection. Which the dancer did provide, and management received. The next month I asked for isopropyl alcohol to wipe down the pole and stage with. I was then fired within a week. Their reasoning? A review that supposedly named me directly, however no such review has ever existed. SINCE THEY WANNA TALK ABOUT NAMES IN REVIEWS, LET’S! SHALL WE?! The conditions dancers must work in are determined and affected by the following people and circumstances. -Dancers are monitored on camera and are not allowed to leave, or take breaks from 830pm until your 5th 10 minute performance. (1:10am-1:55am) If you miss a performance, or leave early one time you are fired by Trevor, the dancer manager. -You get no control over the music, and it is often a preset playlist. The same playlist they’ve been using for decades. With extremely poor choices and infrequent additions. Any other time it’s DJ Snow, who also verbally and s******y a******s dancers nightly. As a dancer you are expected to tip him out, and if you don’t he will purposefully play music that is awkward to dance to while you are on stage. -Dancers are not given private changing areas. Frequently intoxicated customers walk through the basement storage area which is also where dancers undress and change. There is a sewer drain near the entrance, which customers can also smell affecting business. Francisco the cook s******y a******s the dancers nightly. Imer, the security manager literally laughs if you complain or walks away without saying anything. There are two curtains that divide the storage area/changing area from the public bar. Directly on the other side is Trevor, who at any time can hear what is being discussed, also can and does randomly and frequently invade dancer’s privacy without warning. -The staff is full of pr******s. The longest running show host is Alexis, who falls asleep sometimes during her job, forgets to announce dancers, misses sets, verbally a*****s dancers if they politely ask for professionalism, and character assassinates them as well. She’s also heavily intoxicated every single night as a paid bar employee. The bartender Omar is clearly on c**e and drunk while at the bar frequently, and gets extremely aggressive. Omar also brings in all of his agro friends all the time killing the vibe. Imer and Trevor have been made aware several times, and do nothing. The bartender Adam frequently has **x with young, over served, very intoxicated men(?) in the bathrooms, management has also been made aware of this, and does nothing. When members of the security team try to deny entry or cut anyone off because they are overly intoxicated Imer overrides their judgement and allows them to come in anyway. -Alexis will purposefully take customers upstairs away from dancers she doesn’t like so they can’t make money during stage performances. Omar, Adam, Adam’s partner who also works there, but I forget his name, all do this. Alexis, the actual host of for the dancers, does this most frequently. -Dancers are forced to do lap dances for $23 while the bar makes $2/dance. That is the cost of 2 drinks. If you go over 4 minutes (you are not given a clock, or warning) you are charged by the house for another lap dance even if you were only given $25 by the customer. -Some dancers are given special treatment. Axton has been caught bringing in his own alcohol multiple times, caught having **x in the bathroom multiple times, and has left ni
