One of my all time favorite restaurant experiences. The owners were so sweet and friendly, and the food was amazing. I forgot to take pictures but the chicken and shrimp with crispy basil and pad thai were delicious and the mango sticky rice was the perfect dessert.

They're very nice, but they messed up our order and, honestly, the food wasn't great. Having traveled extensively through Thailand, I can say this is not very authentic.

The last two times I have ordered from here I have had issues with the food. Last time, it looked as if the rice for my yellow curry had been scooped with a spoon used for meat or something. There was bits of meat and sauce throughout what was supposed to be plain rice. I am vegetarian, so this was very frustrating. It made the food taste very gross.
Today when my friend ordered for us, the yellow curry smelled strange. It tastes flavorless but edible, but it smells like wet old towels. This had been my favorite restaurant but now I am skeptical to order again, I don’t want to have to throw away food because it doesn’t taste good.

Silavai has great food. But you really need to upgrade your seats. Hard wood just does not work for a lot of people. My wife and I cannot sit on chairs with no cushioning.

Got the spring rolls, crispy baby rolls, and green curry. Was amazing and they threw in a free mango sticky rice!
Good Thai food with decent prices. I really liked the mango sticky rice. Also, the green beans are exceptional.

Solid thai that's a bit more veggie forward than most and seems to omit fish sauce more than most as well
Service was fast and incredibly friendly. Food was amazing, really tasty and flavorful. Prices were pretty affordable compared to other Thai places around. I recommend their drunken noodles, and their pad see ew!

Pad Kee Mao (Drunken Noodles) is one of my favorite entrees, and I try it in every city I visit. This restaurant has best Drunken Noodles I've ever tasted. Incredible flavor. Perfectly cooked noodles.
Very friendly and helpful service! We eat here every time we visit Portland!

Tasty food for dining in and takeout. Their noodle dishes are good. The curry dishes are my favorite. Dining room is spartan and clean. Very reasonable prices. Extensive menu.

Very warm, friendly service and wonderful food. The flavors are fresh and vibrant, the menu variety is excellent. We enjoyed the Tom Kaha soup, Talay seafood dish, and pumpkin curry— all delicious. Fresh coconut water, authentic mango sticky rice, and the above average amount of seafood options were an unexpected bonus.

Cute restaurant in a residential area with affordable food. Our waiter was very considerate. I got drunken noodles with tofu and Thai iced tea. We also got the combo appetizers and the waiter gave us a mango sticky rice on the house. If you want separate checks you might need to ask as they automatically grouped us together. Indoor and outdoor seating.
