Wonderful pizza and great deals. Best damn vegan pies I’ve ever had. The staff is wonderful, always kind and patient. (Ive even seen them save a life.) The only thing holding me back from a 5 star review is that the company is dragging their feet, and are trying to prevent the workers from unionizing. The hardworking staff that make this place what it is deserve so much more respect and appreciation than they get.

Sizzle pie is great but could be better. One way to ensure every pie is outstanding is making sure the employees are appreciated. It is disappointing to say in the least sizzle pie corporate is being accused of union busting by the amazing employees who bust their ass to give great service. I fully intend to stop my patronage if sizzle pie will not allow their employees to unionize. This location in particular is my favorite since it's next to my favorite bar, but if skipping a slice or two means helping out the employees reach a livable wage then so be it.
I hope corporate will be open and agree to bargaining so I can keep supporting a portland staple.

The only way for this pizza to be of value is to buy a whole pizza. $5.50 per slice of pepperoni is ridiculous. $5 for a slice of cheese. ?
While the ingredients are definitely better quality, Domino's will give you similar levels of salt on the two main staples; cheese and pepperoni. Their best economy is on their specialty pizzas.
The only reason I went here is for a drunk friend who threw up nearby when I picked them up to take them home.
Is it pizza, yes. For the prices they charge, I will not be back, unless a similar situation occurs.

The pizza has the best crust of the downtown area. The pie's are cheaper, too The staff is extremely professional and polite. This place is one of my dating restaurants and has never failed me. Love it.

Don’t get me wrong I love the food here, the pizza is great and they have great variety. However the service is so unpredictable and typically rude. For example I came in and was treated briskly. Snapped at, given vacant stares when I asked questions, and my drink slammed on the counter. I’m not saying that anyone has to be my best friend but a little decency and kindness go a long way.

Ordered takeout, pizzas took 30 minutes longer than we were told and were made wrong (didn't make any changes we asked for).
Decent pizzas but disappointing service, I would recommend other restaurants over this one

If they spent half as much money on improving the ingredients of their pizza as they do union busting maybe their pizza wouldn't be so mediocre. The owner Bob is such a tool, he will testify in a public hearing about his precious cornicione while supplying pizza ingredients from Sysco.
This is the classic Sizzle Pie experience. My vegan pizza was on point, and the music was great.

If Dave Portnoy asked me where to get the best pizza in this town I would tell him to go to East Burnside Sizzle Pie and then just leave because everything else is hippie pizza.
