I was visiting Portland from out of state and I like to buy tea from places I visit. I got the Meadow Latte and it was so good! Apple pie in a cup! I bought a few tea boxes. Nice customer service!

Got the jasmine silver tip tea and strawberry cheesecake macarons to go, the lady was super sweet and helpful. Will definitely be back to sit down and enjoy some tea there, the atmosphere is very nice and chill, to go with friends but also alone.

I’ll start by saying the atmosphere was great and the service was tremendous. The drink I received was probably the worst tea i’ve ever had. As an avid tea lover, I had high hopes in trying one of their creations. What I received was extremely disappointing. Ultimately, it tasted like mucky water. This may just be an issue with their iced teas but seeing as this was a creation of THEIRs, I had higher expectation. And for $6, I expected to at least taste SOMETHING. Even the milk couldn’t push through how watery the drink was. Id advise in the future to maybe create a concentrate for iced drinks instead of, and this is what i think occurred, putting a tea bag in iced water and calling that a drink.

Such a friendly staff & amazing seasonal drinks. I highly recommend stopping by as they are very knowledgeable on the tea selections they have. I love the presentations of the drinks when being seated there. Felt extremely fancy ✨️

This place really takes the idea of tea blends and elevates it to the next level. Consistently amazing tea and tea lattes here. Plus, they switch up the menu seasonally, so there always seems to be a fresh variety.Smith tea also has a nice list of traditional teas if that is your preference. It can be a lot of fun to get a tea flight and experience a variety of flavors. Both the west and Eastside locations are fantastic. Highly recommend.

You guys, we need more shops in Portland that allow public seating on the public sidewalk where they put their chairs. This place is directly next to my work and they told me I can’t have a seat without buying something. I had to get to downtown Portland early today to get to the clinic a few blocks away for my PT appointment before work. I had an hour to spare I can’t exactly arrive to work that early, especially not to hang out before clocking in. I am receiving treatment for chronic hip pain, hence the PT. Let people sit in the chairs you leave outside. Let them rest their bags on your tables. It’s wet, you have a canopy, and nobody else is out there. I was born and raised here, 32 years of age. My city is a disappointment these days, the transplants are an epidemic, and the tea is basic.

Love their tea, but this review is for how helpful and friendly their staff is. Such a great bunch of people. Will definitely make a point of visiting this location again.

Came here a couple of days for the first time. The lady that helped me was very nice and helpful. Well today I wanted some tea. I came back because of the service. Today I had a weird vibe about the bearded guy with glasses. He came across not very inviting. Placed my order with a pop tart. I asked for a to go cup because I wasn’t going to drink all of it. Anyway I’m sitting in the corner enjoying my pop tart. 5 minutes pass as my tea is done. He puts my tea on the front counter saying my tea was finished when he could of easily taken 6 steps and gave it to me being I was sitting down and enjoying reading. The pic shows how far he had to walk. While enjoying my self he does deliver tea others sitting at a table.

More than my opinion this is an advice for the counter people, treat people how you like be treat, if you don’t have a sign “no pets” and a person came in with a dog, the staff need been relax and let you know that the tea shop is not pet friendly and they can take you order outside, not scream in the middle of everyone that your dog is not allowed here and not roll you eyes and do bad face to costumers when you pay.

Went in to grab some loose leaf tea- normally a great experience and not eventful. This time the person behind the counter decided to be really rude during my purchase- then went to "the back" (5 feet away) to talk about me to his co-worker while I was paying. I go to get loose leaf tea here about every 2-3 months and normally have a good experience. Not sure what was going on today ‍

Good tea and fantastic macarons are served with warm service at a great location. It’s a such a good time to enjoy the tea and macaron outside in the fall.

I wanted more. The tea I ordered was an iced Jasmine tea. It honestly had no flavor and tasted like water. I was really hoping for a jasmine flavor. They offer other teas on the menu. Maybe if I tried something else, the tea would have tasted better. The staff were not that helpful when I asked about the tea I just received. Noted. You can buy teas to take home as well.I was not impressed.
