I truly wanted to like this cart. I really like salt and pepper shrimp. I got half squid and half shrimp. The squid was over cooked and very chewy. I took it home so maybe it was a function of driving home. Also the seasoning was really light. Salt and pepper dishes I have had in the past were highly seasoned…with salt and pepper. Also they have always had jalapeño rings in the dish which add some heat to compliment the salt and pepper. Maybe this is a different dish than what I’ve had in the past. My favorite is from R and G Lounge in San Francisco. Possibly not a fair comparison. I’ll try it again when I’m going to eat there to see if the squid is not over cooked.

Love the pepper salted squid here! Sou's is the only place I go to get my fix. Hubby got half squid and shrimp plate. I have a hard time finishing my plate; he serves a good portion. Hubby will gladly help me clean my plate though. ? You can see by the photos love and flavor goes into each plate.
