Self proclaimed best Salted Squid....? Only after one try not sure if I agree or disagree but I can tell you the owner and staff are Amazing human beings!!! Warm smiles and pour there hearts into the food!!I personally preferred the fried shrimp over rice....Yummy!!Don't sleep on the Chicken curry tacos y'all....Fluffy taco shell is a great vessel to soak up all the deliciousness and flavors to enhances each bite!!! I dare you to try and only eat one!!!

This is the best pepper salted squid I've ever had! The squid is crispy and well seasoned. It tasted like very good quality squid and the portion is generous. Highly recommend to get this with rice! Very fast service and the staff are really nice.

The food is great but the fact that the hours are so inconsistent is frustrating. Hours will be posted and then suddenly changed with no notice- not very efficient and a waste of my time when I'm heading there 2hrs before closing to find out they just update their IG stating they are done for the day!

It had a great aroma, lightly friend, good balance of spices, and tasted great. Service/Atmosphere/Prices: 5/5We were given a remote buzzer for our order so we could continue to explore the other food carts in the area. It worked great. It was cooked fast and fresh. Prices were very reasonable for the portion sizes they provided. Definitely exceeded our expectations. Overall Comments: 5/5Of note, we had their food cart/truck variant at the Portland Night Market. Exceeded expectations. Will refer friends and definitely return.

Hands down the best Pepper-Salted Squid I've ever had! The squid was fresh and had a nice chew to it. Every bite has the perfect crunch and savory taste. I normally don't eat white rice, but I destroyed the plate because the leftover flavor and grease made the rice such a great sidekick to the squid. I am an onion lover so the sautéed onions hit the spot. Literally so bomb I had to eat it 2 days in a row!

Love the pepper salted squid here! Sou's is the only place I go to get my fix. Hubby got half squid and shrimp plate. I have a hard time finishing my plate; he serves a good portion. Hubby will gladly help me clean my plate though. ? You can see by the photos love and flavor goes into each plate.

The most bomb-ass squid I've ever had. Was not overly greasy, perfectly seasoned, and the onions add a wonderful balance to the flavor and texture.
We have tried countless places for their salt and pepper squid or shrimp. Our favorite is Thien Hoang. But service was so bad we went looking for alternatives. This place definitely is great. The seasoning and crispinessis worth the drive. I found the shrimp to be a little less seasoned and crispy for some reason. I didn't eat it with the rice as it was tasty alone and the onions was the chefs kiss

I saw some people eating the Salt & Pepper squid while walking around CORE. It looked very good, so I ordered myself some. Wow. It was delicious! The salt and pepper squid was tender, had nice crispiness, and the salt and pepper flavor was perfect. Love the addition of the onions and green onions on top. It was laid on a bed of white rice.
