Friendly, no rush environment. Mint Cacao smoothie for the casual drinker, and 4 or 8 oz sipping chocolate for those with a taste for a more invigorating experience. They seem to work closely with producers.
We had an amazing time here! The air conditioning was crisp and the ambiance was clean and serene. My kiddo had the most amazing mint and cacao nibs milkshake and I had an iced latte that was to die for. To be able to satisfy a teen and a mama is no small feat. The selection of cocoa for sale looked amazing- truly inventive and interesting flavors.Finding ethical, handmade treats is a win.
This is an amazing place! I really appreciate their emphasis on the traditional cacao experience and supporting sustainable, regenerative, indigenous farms and communities. Whether getting cacao products to prepare at home or stopping in for a drinking chocolate, you don't want to miss out on this experience. Go and taste it for yourself and check out the other products they have available as well. Their traditional Copal incense is amazing too!
Plenty of chocolate merchandise to choose from and one rotating daily drinking chocolate. We got the SPRINGS in a 12oz cup and it was very pleasant on an April spring afternoon.
I was really disappointed that this place only sells over priced cacao (I only drink ceremonial cacao and I know exactly what it should cost) AND they don’t actually serve drinks. I called ahead to check and they said they serve cups of the cacao of the day, but I went there to order I found it was premade, sitting in a thermos. It’s not made to order and is expensive for something that’s not made there. I tried a sample and the consistency wasn’t right, it was very watery. This is more of a retail shop than anything so do not be expecting a nice cuppa if you come here.

Love this place! The staff was so friendly and helpful. Can’t seem to order enough of the stuff. If you’re not into dark chocolate they still have drinks that might be for you. Their CBD infused drink is super cool.
Another little gem on Mississippi! I had never tried ceremonial grade cacao or felt its effects. It's so yummy and energizing! I really love the different flavors they have going like their chai cacao blend and a cherry mix. Also, they honor and value the Guatemalan farms they represent. Pretty cool.

All right this is one of my most interesting visits recently to any sort of store the inside of this place is very confusing it's cut up by these terrible plastic room dividers and they have somebody sing at the front door and then they have one guy the owner back making the drinks and I thought he'd be promoting it and telling us everything about it but he was very quiet we'd ask him questions and he'd answer them but beyond that there was very little interaction environments kind of sterile and the drinking chocolate is not the drinking chocolate that I'm used to so don't go there thinking you're going to get a creamy cup of something extraordinary you're going to get a cup of real cacao or chocolate mixed with water that's all there is to it and you even have to ask to have it sweetened so because of the sterile environment and the fact that I did not really like the chocolate drink I will not be going back here but he's very knowledgeable and I'd love to go on one of his cacao trips where he goes and buys his stuff but I won't be going back there to drink any of it
Wonderful experience and wonderful Cacao. The barista (? Cacaoista?) who helped me was incredibly kind and helpful. They directed me to what I was looking for and gave me good information. The cafe is homey and felt very safe (COVID-wise) as well. I will be back soon for more delicious Cacao to both drink there and make at home.
Amazing cacao drinks and mixes to take home!!! The smoothies are a delicious treat that make me feel good about snacking!
I have now gone through the baseline drinks without sweeteners. Yum. Next up, with sugars. Bwaaa haaaa haaaa.Old review: New flavors. Different ways. Interesting. Go.
Delicious drinking chocolate. Try the flight - gives you a chance to try a variety of flavors at a really reasonable price
