We had very nice seafood: Cioppino and the sturgeon. White wine flight was meh. Prices decent. Service very good. However, the interior space felt like a cafeteria. Its too loud and too bright. Not sure why they don’t get a real decorator in there and redo the place.

Get your reservation early, we waited and had to be seated at the bar; having said that, and although the bar was busy (symphony night), the service was more than adequate, and the servers were personable and friendly. Food was great, portions were good, and we will return.

I hail from the restaurant business. So my opinion may be a tad more direct than a normal review . This restaurant has a great space and a nice vibe . My Mom and myself have been dining here the past seven years or so as we attend the Oregon Symphony adjacent . I feel the menu needs a complete overhaul . Although the food is good the menu lacks creative influence . It seems as though it never changes . I think the place could really explode with a retrofit from a culinary perspective .

I was in Portland for a work conference and went there 3 times in 2 days! Client lunch, then lunch alone the next day, then our team went to dinner. The clam chowder made my whole heart happy, had gnocchi in it and the presentation was lovely. I ate it each time and still want more! Service was awesome. One of us has a service dog, they gave us a table where the dog could relax. We had such a great time that we shut the place down! I can't remember what everyone ate but we were all very happy. Go!!

I can never get a table because it is so busy but we do sit at the counter by the oysters and I love it there. I get to eat with new folks who are usually going to the Schnitz as well as us. Meeting new people and enjoying delicious food and wine is tops on my list.
The food and service at Southpark Seafood made for a wonderful dinner. Our waiter was friendly and very efficient.

I loved my time at Southpark Seafood! We were celebrating a birthday and they included a card as well as a candle in the dessert. Great service, great vibes, and delicious food!

Update edit: I forgot I gave this place a one star. Came at 4 pm and the restaurant was mostly empty. Instead of seating us in the main area we were sat in the bar. Because unless we are fast we could not eat in the main seating. Also they charge 2.5% surcharge for using a cc and automatic 20% tup
Sat down at the raw bar, the staff far outnumbered the patrons. They were all too busy talking to each other to even come over to talk to me.
