We happenned upon this place as it was right in front of where we parked. We wereplanning on going to the thai restaurant nearby, but happy we got to try something new. Was curious and peered into the glass door and was invited in try a variety of dishes for dinner. Great Fijian/Indian food. Not Mediterranean. Good price for dinner. 15pp. Just so happens that I work with a relative of the family who runs this place.

Well it was our first time dining here. For sure we won't be going there again. Food was very cold and not enough varieties. Food tasted old. No flavor at all. They gave us just one home made bread which they called NAAN.

Portland best kept Indian food secret! I go for the lunch buffet and it's so tasty! Highly recommend this place.

What a gem. Been craving Indian food and decided to give this place a try. Even if the food had been horrible, which it isn't, I would frequent this place just based on the overwhelming hospitality and charm of the owners, Eddie and a gal whose name I didn't catch. Eddie introduced himself with a handshake, big smile, and a thank you for coming in before we had even sat down. He wanted to know our names as well, and he struck me as the sort of guy who would remember mine when I came back. This is a no frills, simple establishment but very comfortable and homey. Their 12 dollar lunch buffet was worth every penny. We tried a little bit of everything; butter chicken, coconut milk spinach, soup, chicken curry, naan bread, and some other items I cant remember the names of. I literally could not stop eating. Eddie checked on us several times, and even when we were stuffed brought us the most amazing rice pudding that I didn't even know I needed. I loathe rice pudding, but this one tasted like the leftover milk after a bowl of Trix cereal, with what I swear was peppercorns but I'm not certain. It was so interesting and delicious, and a flavor combination that I've never tasted. I even saw Eddie take what remained of a dish from the buffet, walk over to a table of men, and start ladling the rest onto their plates without any dialogue. It was the sort of thing you'd see your Dad do around the kitchen table at Sunday dinner, and yet seemed so natural to him. I got the feeling that all strangers are considered family and an important guest in his home. Do yourself a favor, eat here. Support these wonderful people because frankly, there just aren't enough proprietors in the world like them.

Very good quality food. The fush curry was my favorite. A great choice for anyone looking for some wonderful Indian food.

A delicious spread of Indian dishes prepared with love by Eddie and his wife. It felt like we were guests in their house, with Eddie bringing dishes to the table for us to try. Everything was delicious and the service was wonderful. $12 buffet starts at 11am and they have other dishes you can order as well if you're looking to spend and eat less. A wonderful welcome to the neighborhood. Go in and give it a try so they are able stick around!

Authentic food and very tasty and filling. Great hospitality from Ed and went out of his way to make sure I was well fed. Lunch buffet was nice to try all the main dishes of that area. Yummy

We were a little skeptical because it was empty and seemed like we may have come when they were trying to close on New Year's Eve. The owner was very friendly and inviting, and brought over some fresh dishes to our table while we were eating buffet style. He even came out as we were driving around the corner to give us some more snacks for the road. The food was flavorful and delicious and we will be returning.

LOVE IT. Many vegan options at the lunch buffet. Affordable. Worth every penny. Plus Eddie, the owner, is such a sweet guy. He obviously takes pride in his job.

My wife and I just ate here and it's really tasty. I've been to Fiji several times for work, and this food tastes just like what you find on Fijian streets. Lots of vegetarian options, curried veggies, masala, chickpea and pea dishes, naan, and lentil soup. This is a mom and pop restaurant that makes you feel like you're eating in their dining room. Unpretentious yet a nice treat.

This restaurant is perfect. The Fijian Indian family who are the owners remind me of my parents, working hard, generous, kind. The goat curry is delicious, good cuts of meat, the butter chicken rich, the vegetable samosas well proportioned & flaky pastry. Spice level is delicious, creeps on a little slow with a long mellow burn. Dishes came w white rice, potatoes, chutney, and greens in coconut milk. Those greens remind me of South Pacific Island food and makes me so happy. They have a buffet which everyone should go to. Please support this delicious neighborhood restaurant.

This place is great, and I really want them to stay in business! They're at a busy spot on Division right near 82nd, so I think folks drive by and don't even notice this place. Went for a lunch buffet. Lots of veg options, nice chicken dishes, one fish dish. Delicious food, like Indian food with a slightly tropical spin. The owners are super friendly, they made us a mixed salad and brought it to the table, and we got a little rice pudding dessert on the house. Seems really authentic to me, very family-run homey quality. Yum! Can't wait to go back, with a big old appetite.

First of all, the service here is top notch. I feel like I am at home in this environment. The vegetable Pakora is incredibly fresh. The lunch buffet is more than affordable. I highly recommend this restaurant!!!!!!!! The insanely fresh food left me more than satisfied and wanting to take some home with me!
