$11 for a bacon egg and cheese bagel ?😳. The reheated slab of egg was cool in the middle , bacon tasted microwaved and cheese not melted.
It’s been awhile since i last came here, and i was gonna treat myself for breakfast and I remembered how good it was…same food order, way different taste and $12 with tip doesn’t even get you a drink😬….im good ✌️

Went in on a Wednesday at 10:30am and they were completely out of bagels. How does that even happen? Won’t be attempting a return visit.
Best bagel. Feels like PDX, tastes like NYC 🗽.

Absolutely the slowest service possible. To the point of it being weird.

Just stood 10 minutes at the counter with nobody else in line , multiple workers, and maybe 4 people in the store. Two who were clearly waiting on DoorDash orders and two sitting and eating. Dissatisfied and disappointed. Couldn’t even order because I was barely acknowledged after a short I’ll be with you in a second. 10+ minutes while I stare at stale bagels on your shelf that look wilted is ridiculous. You are better off buying a bagel from Safeway and making it at home at this point. Never been here and won’t be back. I work in the service industry as well and have never let a customer wait at my counter that long not even just to place an order. Even so, it’s good customer service to say hey for one toasted bagel it’s going to be about 30-50 minutes. Honestly come on. Stupid lol

WORST EXPENSIVE BAGEL IN THE CITY
I used to think Spielman’s had a decent bagel, but after my last two experiences at this location I have to change my mind and inform the public that you will get a dry day(s) old bagel after waiting 20 minutes for an un-toasted bagel with cream cheese.
They are clearly not baking their bagels on the premises and are willing to sell you a $5 bagel that tastes days stale. The cream cheese was nothing special and had a hard texture.
The GenZ folx working there are obviously poorly managed and didn’t have any eggs to give about the inaccuracy of the orders they handed out.
This spot has an atrocious parking situation that would be worth it if the bagels were boiled chewy moist deliciousness like they should be.
Stick to the other boiled bagel locations for a decent bagel with potential for great lox and cream cheese.

It’s frustrating when you’ve waited 20 min for a sandwich (always have to wait, even if you order online and go when it says to), and 3 of the 4 employees are just standing behind the counter gossiping about the employees who aren’t there.

Loved it here. Delicious bagel sandwich and best pumpkin spice latte I think I’ve ever had. And that’s say something because I usually don’t like coffee (especially from the big chains), but this was the perfect mixture of sweetness and coffee. The ambiance was really cool, and it’s in a cute neighborhood. I hope I can come back soon. My only real tip is keep your eyes peeled for parking. I got a good spot because it was a weekday in the afternoon, but it’s a busy shopping area, so be aware. Thanks for a good experience!

Came in today with a violent hangover in need of bagel that was going to bring the kid back to life. Little did I know the treat I was in for. Made a difficult call and steered away from the breakfast bagel my friends recommended. It was a risky but big time players make big time plays. I went with the Willamette- add bacon on the jalapeño bagel. Best decision I made all day. Honestly while I lay in bed I’m still thinking about this breaky bagel. Almost forgot to take a picture it was so good. Turkey, bacon, arugula, momma Lils peppers and some cheese. I will be back anytime I’m in the area. Best bagel shop in pdx I’ve tried to date. 10/10

The bagels are inconsistent in taste and texture, and generally just not that great. I did not realize until this past weekend that they're not baked on site, rather are brought in from somewhere else, at when I arrived 30+ minutes after opening they didn't have any bagels. The worker said that the driver had not arrived yet and they had no idea when to expect them. I waited in my car until the driver arrived, and he definitely seemed 0 sense of urgency considering that the store had no product now almost 45 minutes after opening. I went back in and waited another 7-8 minutes while they took the bagels out of the plastic tubs and put them in the baskets... By then the store was starting to fill up without a single order taken, so I just left. I'll stick with Bowery or Henry Higgins from now on.

Multiple non-dairy options. Love the cashew cream cheese on plain bagel.

The bagels are very mediocre. The bagel sandwich is extremely hard to eat and the egg almost tastes fake. Most of the time the bagels are close to burnt.
The hash browns are barely edible and completely mushy.
Service is fine, but it’s pretty slow.

Absolute WASTE OF MONEY! Hash browns are soggy and disgusting, egg is literally uniform yellow and cut to size - right out of a carton! Chai is mostly water. I will NEVER buy anything here again.

Literally love everything about this spot except it’s always so so so so cold when AC blasting in here and impossible to hang out inside for that reason
