I was disappointed in the quality of the food.

Great place for omnivores and vegans alike. If you’re coming in here thinking it’s a restaurant first and a bar second, you are mistaken. The drinks are cold, fresh and delicious with plenty of N.A. options. It’s always a pleasure to see more than one vegan option, and it have be more than basic fries and salad. They have fries, but they are anything but basic, and salads/bowls that hit with some really good flavor. A lot of their sauces are vegan and super tasty. A great place to go with friends and family alike. Enjoy the patio or the good vibes inside with great music and friendly staff. A must check out during the summer!

Cool little spot with a nice fresh menu. Several vegan options. Full bar. To-go order filled much faster than expected. Just wish the falafel wasn't so dry

Kind and QUICK service. Great ambiance. Fantastic happy hour!! Good vibes and cool interior. Spitz has already become a North Portland staple for me and my community of people who also live in the area. Rewards program is great, too! Can’t wait to keep coming back again and again.

I ordered the Medi Bowl through DD. I don't know how anyone can eat the whole bowl in one sitting!
Every bite is fresh and delicious. Very worth the reasonable price!
I'll be having this for dinner too! My next stop is to Spitz itself. What a cool place!

This place was not what I expected. It has a bar vibe more than anything else and the decor is not as bright as the webpage made me think. There is only street parking – the paved lot next to it has no entry for cars. Cute front patio that would be nice in summer. The menu inside is not the same as the online menu, which immediately makes me wonder what else isn't accurate. I planned to get the salad listed in the vegan section online but in the restaurant it's in the GF section. Some of the vegan dishes list different ingredients online. You order at the bar and pay the tip up front, and you bus your own table. They do not accept cash, which as far as I know is illegal in Oregon.

This is our go-to restaurant when we want delicious, healthy food. So many delicious options. I love their salads, their bowls, and oh wow, such yummy french fries. What do they put on them?

There are no boring bowls here, they are loaded with flavor and healthy goodness. When we order takeout, it comes in easy eco-friendly packaging and they're open late too. I love everything about this place.

Used to eat here, but they stopped accepting legal tender, taking part in the highly racist & classist practice of "going cashless." The number of places doing this in supposedly progressive cities like Portland, knowing full well that they are refusing service to a huge segment of society (the unbanked/underbanked), which is predominantly people of color, is very telling.
