Waited so long for the owner to get her kitchen installed. Not disappointed at all. The chicken was tasty and crunchy, the mashed potato's and gravy were great. My only complaint was the Jambalaya, because the sausage had kind of a weird chemical taste to me (am from New Orleans). Didn't get to try the biscuits, as they weren't available. Haven't tried the shrimp or tenders, I will next trip. Overall, far better fried chicken than you will get a Fred Meyer's across the street, and honestly, cheaper. Plus, the staff is super friendly to everyone, every time I've been in. I'll give my overall review for them as 5 stars, not because they truly shine at one thing, but are so better than the rest at being consistently good. Plus, beer, fried chicken and a smile, available at a single stop? Worth it!

KAREN in particularly accused me of stealing while I provided cash payment along all my other purchases and kicked me out. My hands were full and the drink I was going to purchase didn’t fit in my full bag, so I left my OPENLY ZIPPED bag open from the canned beverage because I did not have enough room with my hands to carry it. Was immediately escorted out while I had the money and intention to pay for my items. Not to mention you will be surrounded by TWEAKERS, DRUG DEALERS AND THE HOMELESS WHO who never are held accountable - but are treated better than people who buy more than the average bum buying cigs with coin change and no ID. Do better Karen, before assume people are shoplifting, please acknowledge that a real theft wouldn’t have the money to pay in front of them for all items. I had full hands and now I’m a thief for hanging a can out of my OPEN bag with CASH in my hand to pay. OLCC report WILL be made in regards to defamation.

Buying someone food, and, what I presume was one of the owners, decided to lecture me about how homeless people don't contribute to society, and thus don't deserve any help. Told me not to feed the animals. Bad business. Shame on you.

dodge this trailer park cesspool full of tweakers, employees who also look high on anything and it's easy to spot due to their lack of * punctuality* within their customer service, slow money tendering, lack of product knowledge and overall horrible costumer service. I was accused of stealing with two hands full of items and cash to pay wit in between my hands, I had a can to purchase sticking out of my hand bag because I had no free hands (which was presented immediately with the cash funds to purchase) and was immediately accused of theft although my money to pay was in my hand (in front of her) and I was still told to leave. give people shopping baskets next (at least) Karen, cause now you look like a corrupt "Karen" business (sadly thats really her name, how ironic) owner who likes to accuse people of theft when in reality y'all don't even got a basket for me to purchase my needs lol. enjoy serving tweakers who ACTUALLY steal from you - it'll make you miss a genuine customer/clientele base that values your convenience driven business. Next training should teach hospitality though. next time this occurs, I would suggest playing a sales role by offering to keep items for sale at the register if a customers hands are full. an OLCC report will be filed.

Great energy drink selection and enjoy the employees. Good location and prices if you are in the area. Open late!

This is my favorite corner store in Portland. Very friendly owner, super chill employees and very reasonable prices. Pro tip: order a full pizza - they’re surprisingly decent, and priced right. They actually serve a bunch of different food that I still need to try….maybe I’ll get the chicken fingers next time or a rice bowl! Support this local business run by good people!

They operate this store in an area with high theft rates, and it looks like something happened to a likely thief in 2021 and things may get complicated. Given Portland's lenient approach to crime, let's hope the store doesn't suffer.

I love this mini mart!! They have delicious bubble tea and ? hotdogs here! They also sell various other hot food items -like nachos and caramel corn. The owners and staff are really nice and I go here every time I'm In the neighborhood!

I stop here almost everyday for something or other; sometimes just to say hey as I am walking past. When I moved here during lockdown Bruce and Karen were the first people I was able to have a full conversation with and that meant a lot.Pizza is delicious and quick, same with hotdogs and especially the Peruvian chicken meals.I’d feel safe saying that if you had a bad experience you were most likely a very bad customer. Also, as a regular I have many times seen the terrible things they have to deal with and they handle it very well.My only complaint would be that they don’t have a T-shirt I could buy ?

I stopped in a few months ago because I was having car issues right across the street, my phone charger broke, and my phone was dead. The only way I could buy a charger was on Apple Pay and with a dead phone I had myself in quite a pickle. The clerk was kind enough to charge my phone up enough to buy a charger. Most places downtown wouldn’t bat an eye to tell me “tough luck” and would refuse to help me. I’m very appreciative of their kindness and understanding. It’s rare you find someone willing to help. Thanks y’all!
