We stopped here on a Friday for lunch. Cozy interior with a German pub vibe. Big selection of German beers on tap and in the bottle. We got a Rueben and shared. Delicious! Love they used sliced chunks of pastrami vs deli meat pastrami. The clams had a great garlic flavor.
This place was amazing! Anna and Ann were great. Service like pre COVID. Mentioned in passing that my husband i would split a plate and they brought it out already separated for us, not extra plates to divy. The homemade ketchup, I would buy if was available for purchase. Would definitely dine again.
If you're looking for an authentic German dining experience in Portland, Stammtisch is a must-visit. Their menu is filled with delicious, hearty dishes, and the Jägerschnitzel is a standout. Perfectly cooked and smothered in a rich mushroom gravy, it's pure comfort on a plate. The Maultaschen, a traditional German dumpling dish, is equally incredible-savory, satisfying, and clearly made with care.
