This is a simple but very pleasant bar. The music is very indie but good stuff. The patrons and staff were all easy going. I've been here twice now and both times did not disappoint. Good place to relax and have a drink. Prices aren't bad, either.

Slept on. Good pours with average drink prices. Currently (April 2025) they give $1 off well if u ride ur motorcycle there. Food is ok but nothing to write home about. They have board games and super cool velvet art on the walls. Great place to chill alone or with friends. I like how they have a retro tv in the corner playing random vhs movies. Music is random (which I like), will they be playing punk? 80s? 90s? Rock? Heavy metal? Who knows!! They also have tables outside and speakers so u can hear the music while smoking/vaping

3 beers and the best Quesadilla I've ever had for only $20! This place is a Portland staple!
Grungy dive(ish) bar with a great vibe. I was honestly indecisive about all the options and decided on getting the soycurl sandwich. Comes with oatmilk ranch, and buffalo or BBQ. I got buffalo, which was a mistake. Whatever they marinate the soy curls in is very heavy in Rosemary and salt, so the buffalo sauce just made it overwhelmingly flavorful that all I could taste was salt. Sidewinder fries were really good. Despite my own mistake of getting buffalo, I will definitely be back!!!

We bounce back and forth between Star Bar and Creepy's most nights because it's a decent place to sit down be able to talk to your buddies and slow the night down a bit. Star Bar has a good edge to it, some good food, and has never been anything but an add to an already good night.
