This is a simple but very pleasant bar. The music is very indie but good stuff. The patrons and staff were all easy going. I've been here twice now and both times did not disappoint. Good place to relax and have a drink. Prices aren't bad, either.
Slept on. Good pours with average drink prices. Currently (April 2025) they give $1 off well if u ride ur motorcycle there. Food is ok but nothing to write home about. They have board games and super cool velvet art on the walls. Great place to chill alone or with friends. I like how they have a retro tv in the corner playing random vhs movies. Music is random (which I like), will they be playing punk? 80s? 90s? Rock? Heavy metal? Who knows!! They also have tables outside...
Been going to Star Bar since they have opened and thru changes in management it's maintained it's place as a rocker hub. Good to know some things don't change in Portland.
