I come here daily. They're GREAT to me. I am cheery, I tip well, and they know my name. Some days, I don't want to go so I send my daughter. She's 23 and a little awkward. She doesn't have the same experience. Even stickering cups and providing her a bag seems to be a hassle.
Today, when I went in the entire order was wrong. Yesterday, I paid $35 for coffee & egg bite soup. The stickers were missing from the cups but mysteriously stuck to the inside of the bag, all in a neat little row.
I went in to talk to the staff about this. I spoke logically, cool, and calm. The barista also helping me was logical and friendly.
I felt like the barista was smiley about fixing the egg bites. But also, she was done listening to my bs and walked away while I was talking.
She said she would but didn't add the paid for cream. She seemed dismissive and flat out and walked away while I was speaking.
When she brought me the eggs, I told her I thought that was both rude and unprofessional.
On my way out the door, she stopped me.
She apologized.
She said she didn't mean to come off that way. She apologized so well and profusely that I didn't know what to do with my face. It was a long sincere apology.
By the time I left, I'd told her she belonged in corporate somewhere. She may have not got it right the first try, and maybe I'm the problem in the first place. Maybe she's a little awkward like my daughter.
She worked at it until all relationships were repaired. I didn't even follow through hard enough to get my Sweet Cream.

The cafe doesn't even have a restroom, which is very inconvenient, a huge minus.

They do not know how to make drinks correctly. We even spend time explaining it and they are still unable to do it. And then they wouldn't remake it when they messed up in the first place.

A coffee shop within Portland State. The staff were so great - mellow, making suggestions about things to do, not shooing me away when I lingered over coffee. A really nice place to relax with a cup of joe and read.

The attention was excellent, I went with my children this weekend Saturday and Sunday to have breakfast, we were on vacation and SHE took great care of us. I hope SHE can see this message and feel proud of her great attention, we will return soon ??

Right before the snow hit, came in to get a few drinks with my daughters. Great customer service from the evening team and even got to see how they dealt with a homeless who entered the shop as well.

Always busy just off the PSU campus. Pretty consistent service and drink quality though! Would recommend.
