Had the worst experience in a Starbucks here. Came in for coffee and pastries but made the mistake of asking to use the restroom first. The lady behind the counter rudely stated you Have To Make a Purchase First. So I proceeded to order. While in line a bunch of Caucasian customers came in the went straight to the restroom and nobody stopped them to ask if they were buying anything. Never felt to unwelcome and offended. Never thought I would come across an unconsciously racist Starbucks in Portland. Hope other locations are not like this.

My favorite Starbucks. Invariably friendly employees, whom I'd picket for if they had a labor dispute. The decor is on the nicer side of Starbucks Late 20th Century. It's as good as any Starbucks is capable of being.
