Thought I was at a Playhouse Starbucks. Wanna feel old? Come to this locationšŸ˜… Remember when the neighborhood kids took over the local Dinner in the Jimmy Neutron movie, when the parents got abducted by aliens? It’s like that.

Generally love going here. But the staff has become much less unfriendly with dogs.

Normally I come in with my beagle, get my food and a pup cup. Usually stop by the door and give it to him on the way out. Sometimes there’s been a cool barista who wants to give it to him. Usually a pleasant experience.

Today Brought my pup in and got a pup cup like usual. Was shouted at (by someone wearing pink) to go outside to give him the cup. I understand if theirs policy changes or crack down on certain things, but there’s more appropriate ways to handle a situation than this. Lol. Idk, I’ll be back, but I’m going to wait until turnover solves the issue.

The staff at this location is so sweet and welcoming! Phoebe greets every customer who walks in with a smile and a ā€œHowdy!ā€ I see the same patrons in this location regularly— reading, writing, working on computers. It’s just pleasant to be here.

I went in earlier for a coffee and a croissant. Girl with the dyed hair took my order and was friendly enough. Had to go wash my hands, and when I came back out, I dropped my stuff at a table and went to pick up the croissant.

"I don't think that's yours, friend" said the lady with black hair, making the poorest eye contact I've seen in a while. "It is. My name's on it, and I can show you my card", I say - but she literally refuses to respond or make any eye contact at that point.

So let me get this straight. You're going to accuse me of stealing and make zero attempt at showing any hint of self awareness or even, god forbid, apologize?

I spent a super awkward thirty or so minutes trying to read a book before I left. Atmosphere completely ruined by this behavior.

Not coming back.

Edit: That response from Starbucks seems a bit patronizing...

I bought a 4 shot beverage to try to stave off a nap. It didn't work, not their fault, but no one woke me up as I slept to the soothing sounds of Aimee Mann for 20 minutes. I call that a win.

It pains me to do this as I’ve already called corporate waiting for a return call. But wanted to say something here also. I’m a daily Starbucks drinker for over 10years and today I was made to feel like my coffee being made correctly was an inconvenience. I’m overly nice to people who work in customer service however just because you do doesn’t give you the right to say what you did. Marina the store manager ā€œper herā€ said that maybe we should get coffee from another store. After she made my coffee incorrectly. She put far to much ice in there preventing her from putting the 3/4 heavy cream in the cup as I ordered today and every other day. She has nothing but excuses like I made your coffee the same way I’ve done it before and you said it was perfect. Yeah and if you check you’d see you put to much ice in there and not enough cream. With that being said I do have a certain way I want my coffee prepared and I’m extremely nice about everything but this was so out of line and a terrible representation of what Starbucks represents. I fully intend to update once I speak with the district manager and depending on how that goes will depend on if they get famous for this. Have the best day everyone and don’t order anything to hard and you should be good. But you would think 5 shots of espresso over ice with heavy cream on top is pretty simple! Maybe not? All phone calls are being recorded!
