Lucas was so friendly and accommodating. You don’t see this in the service industry anymore. He made the experience what it was from the moment we began ordering. The live music was cool. It’s not a large place so you gotta get there early to snag a table or stools. I enjoyed their seltzer they have on tap. Would go back.

This place really undersells itself with their slogan "the most okest bar in Portland", because in reality they are much better than that. Great atmosphere, service, and lots of live music. It's my number one local bar, and I can't recommend it highly enough. 10/10
I’m honestly a little hesitant to write a review on the best kept secret of Foster purely for gatekeeping reasons. But alas, here I am, because this place deserves all the stars. Ya know when people say “old Portland is dead” ? Well it’s alive and well at Starday. Bands play nightly and you can sit so close to the musicians you’re practically a groupie. There’s something called Shaq night, but that’s all I can say on the matter. You’ll have to go and see for yourself. If you live in the neighborhood, it’s hard not to become a weekday regular.

I was the DD for my girlfriend's, the bartender and the 3 customers at the bar (employees from tavern) tried to get us out of the racist bar! That all said my friend was being aggressive. Snatched a drink it if her hands... I have never been so insulted. The bartender had several other she drunk loud people and he kept serving them?! Super messed up
