I keep coming because it is close but EVERY time I come they are out of menu items, I have asked EVERY time I have ordered a Bagel to PLEASE toast it so it is HOT and has color from toasting, I’ve tried please toast 3 times as long as usual, each and every time there is No color barley warm. I can’t figure out what it is with these people? And “they don’t carry/Serve everything bagels”! And act like I am crazy for even asking! Coffee is good.

Love the breakfast sandwiches. They’re always so fresh and delicious. Love the options for additional toppings like greens, onions, cucumber, etc. Easily in the top 3 for best breakfast sandwiches in Portland, maybe the best? The coffee is always hot and delicious. Lots of options for everyone including those amazing looking quiches and frittatas. Plus a cozy vibe and friendly service.

By far my favorite coffee shop in Portland, the seasonal drinks are always good (though you may want them half sweet if you're not a sweet coffee person) and the breakfast sandwiches are AMAZING. The egg on the breakfast sandwiches is always super fluffy and yummy, it's rare that the egg is the shining star.
Parking: Street parking can be limited later in the day, but the church parking lot next door is almost never full.

My opinions: Good house made pastries, good coffee, but unfortunately, they use nasty powdered Chai for their Chai lattes. Also the staff is not very friendly. They aren't overly rude, just unfriendly. It's unfortunate because the location and atmosphere are pretty great, and they have a great covered outdoor patio area. That said there are many other coffee shops in the area, and there is no point in spending money when staff isn't friendly, when plenty of shops have friendly staff.

If you have dietary restrictions don't come here. The menu is misleading. I ordered a jalapeno bagel with hummus as dairy makes me very ill. When I was about halfway through the bagel I realized it was a jalapeno cheddar bagel. I told them about the mix up and they were snippy about it. Menu doesn't show prices or necessary dietary information. The baristas were also very short when I asked questions regarding what had dairy in it and what didn't. It's a shame cuz it's a nice spot and a great location but I definitely won't go back and if you have any dietary preferences I wouldn't go there
Also the bagel was an untoasted store bought bread bagel, not boiled, low quality for high price SMH

Perfect little spot to meet my cousin. On the corner of SE 61st and Stark.
I ordered a 16 oz iced Spring Fling-lavender, Rose, vanilla bean mocha, yummmm I wasn't sure what to expect with the rose - but it was a perfect flavor of each and they blended so well together.
My cousin and I ordered an apple cream cheese pastry to share and because they were just made the crust was so flaky, I knew before I left I was going to have to buy a couple More of the different flavors to take with me.
They had a couple of flavors that I did not catch the name of, but they did have strawberry, blackberry, raspberry, apple, blueberry. Give it a try!!!
Before I left I bought a raspberry and blackberry which Nick who was super sweet told us he gets the blackberries from his yard.
I also received a coffee cake muffin because it was a day old and before they close the next day they like to give them away. It was super moist and the coffee cake topping was flavored very well.
They have a covered outdoor seating area, indoor seating, a restroom for customers.
I'm glad I came by ❤️
Parking: I was able to find a spot right away on 61st right before Stark, there is also parking right in front which my cousin found right away

Could not have been a nicer group of employees and the food was absolutely incredible: Fresh, tasty, original, homemade, and fast - what more could a person ask for, right? Mmmm. My friends and I are pretty picky when it comes to restaurants, If you're in the Portland Metro area, I highly recommend Stark Street Station, a Portland Classic Landmark and worth the trip to check it out for sure!

This is a wonderful neighborhood coffee shop! They have lots of alternative milk options, tasty featured drinks, and delicious food. It's cozy and welcoming inside with a cute covered outdoor patio.
Vegetarian options: It's mostly build your own sandwich with bagels. They have vegetarian and vegan spreads and toppings. There are lots of alternative milk options.
Dietary restrictions: Lots of alternative milk options.
Kid-friendliness: There are non coffee drinks and cold canned drinks. Also cookies and muffins for snacks.
