Amazing food, Amazing service.
Loved the vibe, but didn't really like the Joker being lynched over the cash register. Thought that was very bizzare and out of place, but ultimately I enjoyed myself. Hopefully its taken down, due to history of Portland and its handling of the black community. I'd hope this place hears this.

The BEST cafe in Portland! The atmosphere is fun and eclectic to make for an unforgettable dining experience. The food is amazing and the macake is a must order. I had an omelette with avocado in it and I could tell how fresh all the ingredients were. The owners, Jenni and Roger are a blast. This is a must eat when in Portland.

Whatever I say about this place won't describe it as good as actually going in and having a meal there. Very warm atmosphere food was really good staff more that welcoming. If you wanna feel like a local this place will do the trick!
P.S- There is going to be a line! So it's better to be there before 10am

Super tasty! We were only in town for a week but had to come back because the food, especially the bacon, was soooo good.

I dont go into the downtown Portland area much but I have been trying to come to this restaurant for a while now and when I would drive by this restaurant there would always be a line outside and their dinning area is small so the wait is about 20-35 mins per group but luckily today i was able to get in without having to wait outside. The food here is delicious, so I ordered the chicken fried steak with gravy served with 2 eggs, sliced potatoes(hashbrowns) and toast. I figured if the gravy is good then the rest of the food on the menu has to be good and the gravy was a hit for me. The food was cooked perfectly. My wife ordered a pumpkin mancake and she could not finish it so I did lol, that pumpkin mancake hit the spot. The pancakes here are huge so order carefully lol. I will definently be returning to try other dishes. The staff is very cool and polite, best service anyone could ask for.
My wife is trying not to eat dairy but there wasn't any said dairy substitutes on the menu which is fine, we still ate lol. Theres a nostalgic vibe in the restaurant. It is small so it is hard to get in with a wheelchair but they can get you at one of the couple of tables next to the door. Definitely try this place if you haven't yet.
