I heard from the gentleman behind the bar of a Prime Rib special every Sunday at 4pm on a first time visit. I returned on a Sunday a few weeks later for the special. I arrived early and told the barkeep I was there for the prime rib. I requested the center cut and they obliged. It was a delicious cut of meat and the sides were equally well prepared. A five star experience. I sat at the bar and enjoyed their diverse draft selection and could not be more pleased with the evening I spent at Stormbreaker Brewing. Will return again.

Not a spot for a family. Kids filled up on drink refills (we had to keep requesting to keep kiddos from loosing it.) and the place was not busy at all. A grill cheese should not take 40 minutes and meals didn’t come out together. For a single person it works but this is the third time being burned on the food and now I can’t bring my family back. We had to inform our three other families not to come here since this was my suggestion that I planned and the concert afterwards. So now we are an hour late to a show and had to bring our food with us to end up trowing it away. If somehow I could get my 120.00 for tickets spent and 60.00 from this place back wood be cool but I will just not recommend this to anyone as it seems like we didn’t listen to our friends other suggestions and now I’m having to deal with the consequences with my kids and a unenjoyable show.

It was a lovely, first 'really beautiful' day in Portland, and we were just about to catch the bus back to Kenton.
But the vibes were right and the Doobie Brothers were a'callin', so we slipped into one of the outdoor booths at Stormbreaker for a bit of sipping, noshing, and people watching.
McKenzie was the best host, and helped me navigate the (widely reviled, BTW) QR Code menu, and we talked about their recent wins in the beer world.
The food is ALWAYS, and I mean ALWAYS fresh, plentiful, and cooked to perfection. This includes even the delivered food I order on occasion. This time I had an 'Italians Do It Better' sandwich and a side salad. Let me be clear, 'side salad' usually means a handful of dingy iceberg and shredded carrots - but not at Stormbreaker. Their side salads are sizable, crisp, and come with fresh toppings. Maybe it was the weather, maybe it was the Led Zeppelin, CCR, or David Bowie, but a leisurely repast at Stormbreaker on a Friday afternoon was the perfect way to start the weekend!

Decent beer and food. Staff are friendly. QR code menus only and you must use your phone to order food, unfortunately.

Don’t do it, folks! 18$ for a Cesar chicken wrap filled with raw chicken. Never again 😭

Aside from one guy, the customer service in this place sucks! If you can't scan the bar to see which glasses are 1/4 full and have the sense to ask, "What else were you thinking or what's next?", you have a customer service problem. That said, honestly, beers are average to good. Did not have the food, so I can't comment. I wanted to like this place, but I'll skip next time I'm here.

It took forever to get food on a Thursday night with about 4 other tables and 1 guy at the bar. The food was really good and the service was excellent. While waiting our drinks were steadily refilled and the staff made sure we were happy with our meal once it arrived. The restaurant has a really nice vibe and tons of outdoor seating for these gorgeous Summer evenings.

This used to be my favorite spot for a quick casual dinner in St. Johns, but recent menu changes have really bummed me out and kinda put me off the food. Many other reviewers have mentioned the change to the nacho recipe, but they have also axed their (formerly) amazing onion rings & ranch, which were some of the best I've ever had. There were a handful of times I literally went *just* for the onion rings. I'm unreasonably sad that they're gone and truly hope they come back. Beyond that, the drinks are obviously good and the burgers are ok, but not the best in PDX and a little too pricey for what you get. Ultimately, I just wish they'd be a little more consistent about their menu (and bring back the onion rings & ranch lol).
