I am impressed with the variety of atmospheres the different cafe locations offer. This store was modern, bright, and spacious. I was sure to get whole bean coffee to bring home and drank their seasonal pumpkin spice latte, yum?! I have been a diehard Stumptown fan for nearly 5 years now and I still am.
My one critique is about the pistachio croissant I had, the flavour was amazing but the texture was quite dense and tough for a croissant. The rest of the experience was amazing!! Will be back~

So cute and very busy for the Coraline event. There was a line out the door by the time I left. I was also a little surprised my latté was not hot but maybe warm. It was as very tasty but definitely not hot enough.

A few days ago, I was invited to my partners house for breakfast. Her family is a coffee family and I am not much of a coffee guy. She recommended I go to stumptown, as they like the coffee there. The barista Keith helped me and reccomended a wonderful single origin coffee. It went over very well and my partners family loved it.

Such a cute coffee shop with unique homemade syrup flavors! We also got a pastry that was delicious. And the employee was happy to chit chat with us since he saw our hockey sweatshirt! Great experience

Went for the coraline theme shop. The only thing they had of coraline was a small display of the kitchen from the movie. Music was loud and annoying, not relaxing at all.

The security guy es horrible! He was really rude to my family.He was acting weird and didn’t let the other people enter.I honestly don’t think he deserves to be a staff member.We were nice to him but he was not nice to my daughters.

The coffee was divine. The service quick and fantastic, even with a large line. The Coraline concept art and vignette are priceless. Enjoy a piece of Portland Oregon!

Best coffee in town. The SE Division location is closest to me, but I stopped in to this location when I was in the area. The interior is less cozy but much larger and had more seating room. The coffee and service was great as always. They've partnered with the Portland studio that produced Coraline and have a special drink available as well as so many original sketches, concept art, and even a miniature from the movie.

I’m convinced the people giving the 5 stars have never had a decent shot of espresso. First time trying Stumptown. My partner got a cappuccino, there was no foam in it. I got the coraline latte and the espresso in both of our drinks was so burnt!! Not sure if the beans just taste nasty like that or the baristas aren’t trained on how to pull a decent shot and steam oat milk correctly. I was a barista and understand the difficulty in steaming oat milk or any milk without fat, but if u serve oat milk by default in ur drinks, learn how to steam a cappuccino!! Other then the espresso being nasty, I did appreciate the environment being quiet and dead in there. And the staff were nice.
