One of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had
Food was terrible. I received my order and there was a salad with dressing stuffed in the same bowl with greasy hot meat and hot rice. That salad now was covered with that no longer being cold and fresh. It was wilted and warm and greasy. YUK! When you order a hamburger the lettuce is cold and crisp sits on top of the burger. There is no comparison to haveing a salad with DRESSING burried by hot greasy meat hot rice and hot teriyaki sauce. When I confronted the owner he was put out and did not want to address the problem. For complaining he asked I never come back. Perhaps better I take my money and find a place that appreciates customers. I have 11 people at my work I shared this with and they also won't be back.
It is not possible to find a better tasting spicy pork teriyaki in Portland.
Great little sandwich shop. Not the nicest area in the industrial area, next to a stripper bar but fenced in safely from all that
Food is awesome, and very fresh.
I had a impromptu visit here as we were waiting for a client. The Sub was great!! I am picky so my order had a lot of customizations and they accommodated well.
Blt......absolutely the best but I've ever had
I visit here on a regular basis as it's very close to my job and a place I can get in and out of pretty quickly. It's service goes above and beyond. I love the owner and it's workers. They are friendly and fast. I always order the bulgogi without lettuce, tomato and peppers and it's honestly so good, I'm afraid to try anything else but their menu is so large I know without a doubt I'd like pretty much anything offered. My kids and husband also enjoy the bulgogi as well as the teriyaki chicken and spicy pork bowl. I definitely recommend

I visit Sub King regularly as it is right around the corner from my job. The people that work here are so friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend the chicken teriyaki. I generally order the 1/2 size, it's affordable and includes a small side salad. Their sandwiches are pretty good too, I'm a fan of the fresh turkey.

Absolutely inexcusable and DANGEROUS food quality. Got a sandwich and it was loaded with rotten lettuce. Yes, rotten, like brown mush dissolve in my hand rotten. Called to alert the store and the manager proceeded to tell me it’s not rotten and it comes like that. I was an executive chef for a decade and if the health inspector saw this you would be shut down immediately, and rightfully so. This is almost assuredly caused by storage temperature(line or walk in)not being to code. I can only presume the other ingredients are treated in a similar manner. Wont be coming back.

Was in the area for work and was told that Sub King was a good place for lunch. Imagine a lunch place that has traditional sandwiches (like turkey subs) but also makes different dishes such as teriyaki rice bowls and a beef bulgogi sub sandwich (which was very delicious!) Don't bother with Subway or McDonald's. Try this place instead! Yum!

This is a great little deli and teriyaki spot. The folks that work there are super nice and take good care of the customers. The sandwiches are on point and the teriyaki is tasty AF. Clean and quick place to get lunch.

They were very friendly and the price was about average. I'm a very basic person and ordered a turkey. The #11 I believe. The meat to bread ratio was lacking. I generally prefer my sandwiches lighter on the meat side but this was just too light. Thank you, but I don't think this is the shop for me. Very fresh veggies, by the way.
Parking: There are not a bunch of spaces, but there are some. As long as they are not super, super busy you should have no trouble parking.
