If you want to be treated rudely please come to this Subway. I have come here often as I work nearby. I have always been polite and tipped them well. I do it through Grubhub and never had a problem. I came today and my order wasn’t there as usual. No problem. I sat down to wait. When it was clear mine wasn’t coming I asked about it. I did not expect the rude, defensive response that was totally out of the blue. I was curtly told she was working on it and angrily told me the time it was to be made and it was a half hour later than I was told on the app. I politely said this. I got her wrath. Other customers were surprised. She shoved an order at me, telling she circled the time. I let her know that was actually someone else’s order. She turned her back to me and told me, “then I don’t have it.” That’s fine. Things happen. But to be so hostile, rude, and disrespectful was completely not needed. They lost a customer and I will let everyone in my office of my experience.

Visited around 1:30pm , this employee was extremely Transphobic, and treated me in ways that I have never been treated at a subway. Misgendered me multiple times, first time, ok figured was a slip, (the employee she was working with looked over quickly at her after she did it, I think they knew what she was doing, didn’t seem to approve, just kept making my sandwich, so no problem with that employee, they treated me with respect at all times) after letting it slide (I generally try to give people the benefit of the doubt,) , I proceeded with my order,, basically a cold cut with cheese onion, lots of jalapeño oil vinegar, salt, and pepper. (I leave off all the rest, I just got a lot of jalapeño on it) she puts like eight jalapeño slices on it, I ask for more and she refuses saying this is a strict portion policy, .. which really surprised me because I’ve been going to Subway since I was eight years old, ordering the same exact sandwich and have NEVER had a problem with it ( even a single time) in the thousands of times I’ve ordered (in a span of 35+yrs and 40+ states) I mentioned this to her, and she started laying on the Misgender real quick , sir this, sir that. , I called her on it, she kept doing it, essentially arguing it’s her right to be a transphobe, so I got my money back and left. As I was leaving she did not refer to anyone else, including males as “sir” it was very clear. She was specifically targeting me because I am trans. (as the person with with me also observe, and others who have had the same experience with her have also observed) On the way out , I did make sure to catch a quick picture of her before leaving since she would not tell me her name or any other way to refer to her if making a complaint. Interestingly, when I mentioned this among a group of friends, other trans people have shared the same experience with her that are trans, and another friend who is disabled also had problems with her (and that friend isn’t even trans!) I’ll be honest, I’m half tempted to go out there with a bullhorn every day that she is working there, but I figured I would go ahead and try and resolve this another way and hopefully you read these reviews or I am able to reach the owner of this business and see how this is handled. But considering this location is right down the street from OHSU, which does a lot of medical care for trans patients, in a state that has the largest trans community per capita of any state, especially in Portland, this probably isn’t a great business decision, nor is an ethical or moral to blatantly dehumanize your customer. I lived in Texas most of my life and even there , never had this experience at Subway. It’s not like I was forcing her to refer to me as ma’am, I never even requested anything of the sort, I simply asked that I not be called, sir.
The woman working the morning shift on Wednesday, has an absolutely ROTTEN ATTITUDE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I do NOT RECOMMEND this place!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They will make you buy an entire meal if you want to use their restroom. I was just in the neighborhood and tried to buy a soda and cookie and they turned me away. Go to Growler Guys instead.

I WAS ABLE TO COME IN TODAY AND NOT GET RUSHED WITH MY ORDER!! Whenever i try to come in and that dude that has green hair is working I just walk right out, he is mean, pushy and never knows what all goes on the sandwich if you ask for it how it comes.I HAVE TO TELL HIM WHAT IT COMES WITH! Don't you work there for a reason dude? Whatever. I'm so glad I walked by today and seen three great people working and not that dude. I went in and got lunch since he wasn't in there. and all three workers looked so happy and was making sure customers got what they wanted and needed. I didn't witness them rushing ANYONE out the door if anything the nice cute older lady was asking people how their day was. That crazy old dude should really learn from his coworkers!! They're great people!! They're the reason I come back 😄

The girl with face tattoos is amazing. If I remember correctly her name is Asia and her coworker Jen are just so sweet. They definitely make a great team. Every time I come in there Asia is always so bubbly and ready to make my food. Jenn is so kind and shows she cares truly about her customers. I came in today and I seen them two and there was nothing but good vibes, smiles and happy people in there. I love this subway thanks to them two girls!!

The guy with blue hair was amazing! He greeted me when I walked in the front door. He welcomed me in. I am a vegetarian and he explained the options for me. I really wish Subway carried the veggie patty, but he made me the best vegetarian sub I’ve ever had! The bread was amazing! But most of all I felt like he cared about making me the best sub. It was a really good experience and
I will tell all my friends who are also vegetarian to go here! Thank you blue haired guy!

Subway can be hit and miss at the best of times but this one is especially awful. Constantly out of stuff or dirty, and half the staff look like crack addicts who wandered in off the street.
Very nice staff. VERY CLEAN lobby. 👍🏼👍🏼

This is the first subway that I have ever been to where the people working there actually care about their job.
