Everytime I go in, there is only one employee taking and making the orders. That Is insane! Making all the online orders as well. I don't have the luxury of waiting 20 mins for someone to take my order. I have a job myself to get to. Would be nice to get subway on my break but never have the time to wait all day for a sandwich. Do better. Hire more employees.

Clean place, but service not good.
No worker up front, after 5min he came out. Started helping with the orders, he's trying to catch up with his works, seems really busy doing something else. Then he kept asking what sandwich we like, after we already told him our orders. He proceeded on doing the orders, we ask for meatball sandwich, he said it's out of stock, but there's meatballs on the counter.. he seems really busy doing his works, but we're the only two customers in the store.
Finish making our orders after 10min.
Maybe he just have a bad day on a slow day..
Might need more practice n training.
The place was good and the man was nice but the girl was smart with me and snappy. I don't think I will ever go there again.

The gentleman named Derek was so nice and quick to help my brother and I, the sandwiches taste amazing, the store looks nice and clean, the service is so amazing and I am super happy I came in today, thanks again to Derek♥️
Stay clear of this location! The service took almost 30 mins to make 2 subs because the two ladies working were blabbering away while orders stacked up for pick up while there were customers in store waiting in line. One of the ladies handled food for a delivery with NO GLOVES and touched the cookies and sub while packing it. Mind you it was messy preparation! Then they both had the nerve to talk smack about a customer who was waiting for a pick up order who was waiting way before we even got into the store. Our food was good by the time we got them and I ended up with food poisoning the next day! This place is trash and needs to shut down!
I had a very negative interaction with the manager Stacy, I walked in while she was helping someone, she looked up but didn't say anything, after a short wait she asked simply what I wanted in a very short manner and a frown. The weird part is that she asked everybody that walked in after me (all of them were Caucasian, I noticed) how they were doing and greeted them, I feel she may be a little racist or something, either that or she lacks etiquette and human decency. I can't believe Subway employs people like this, I hate this Subway, but unfortunately there was no other option on my way to work. Somebody really needs to show her that this kind of behavior is unprofessional, I will not be going back there.
Ordered a normal sandwich and ASAP was about 25 minutes out. I pick up my sandwich and I paid extra for avocado and there was none. Really disappointed I didn’t get the up charge I paid back or even a warning.

I made the mistake of going to a Subway location I don't normally go to. I went to the location at 10120 NE Halsey St. Portland, OR. 97220. I went on 1/3/2025 at 2:00pm
First of all, not only do they not except coupons, but they also charge more than the other locations I go to.
The biggest issue I had though was the service. The guy making my sandwich was extremely unprofessional. He started making it then stopped what he was doing several times to yell at a customer who came in AFTER me, over an Uber Eats issue. I almost just walked out, but I was seriously starving. I will definitely not be going back to this location again.
The moment I entered the store I knew I was in for a rare and fulfilling customer service experience. The floor was mopped, tables, clean and chairs upside down on the tables.
I arrived about 20 minutes before closing and Derek promptly greeted me with a level of enthusiasm uncommon when an employee is looking forward to going home.
Derek's attitude was EXCELLENT! He mentioned that due to other locations closing early he's used to getting their overflow and was happy to see me.
My sandwich was made quickly, with care, and Derek even had the foresight to offer wrapping the sandwiches individually after I asked him to cut it in half.
His friendly easy going demeanor would fit right in at higher end restaurants and I was moved to give him a $5 tip against an $8 purchase.
The stores windows, sidewalk, and parking lot were all clean and there's plenty of parking available. You can count on this location to provide you a welcoming and enjoyable dining experience, and hopefully you luck out and have a chance to have Derek wait on you.

Avoid this location! The worst customer service i have experienced! Disrespectful, accusational, and condescending from management.

Additionally, the pathetic little man behind the counter is a poor excuse for a leader! He had the opportunity to turn around an unfortunate incident but instead managed to make it a terrible experience. Absolutely disgusting interaction!!!!. I should have thrown my sandwich around the lobby for him to clean up. Lol. But I didn't and it was delicious. I still despise this location.

I ordered UberEats and got a footlong. When I got my food, I got the smallest sandwich I've ever seen. There was approximately 2 slices of meat. Each "6 inch" piece was the size of a tiny granola bar. I'm extremely unhappy.
