I tried to use a coupon and the lady behind the counter stated” this is only for a participant subway” when I asked her who is the participant subway do you have a list or contact# she sayed I don’t know !! I’m just working here, I have no information?
This is hands down the best subway in the metro area. The end. 💜
Quick and easy
The absolutely most despicable and deplorable miserable experience I’ve ever had! Such awful and RACIST service! I come in and mind you the place was empty the guy was in the back washing something comes out mumbling something about “your gunna get everything dirty” there’s still 40mins till closing and then I look to my dad about what bread he wants (we’re speaking Spanish) and the guy mumbles something about “can’t even speak English” I confront his comment and he says some bs about “no no I can’t speak Spanish”. We left and as we’re getting in the car he flips us off! Don’t spend your money here let me recommend Muchas Gracias across the street.
This is the cleanest most well organized Subway I’ve been to in years. It reminds me of how it used to be back in the day when I was a kid. I definitely credit that to the wonderful older woman who works there. I wish I had her name but she sounded Ukrainian or Russian. She’s always very quick, kind, and you can tell she really takes care of that place. As soon as I get her name I will be updating! This will be the Subway location of choice for me as long as she is there, just wonderful!
I was just here a month ago, and asked about the ghost paper bread. I left the store after the guy said I had to pay for 2 subs, in order to to use the ghost pepper bread.
A few days ago, I was at another shop over on the East side of Portland. As soon as I got in, they offered me the ghost pepper bread with no hesitation, and no extra charge.
Please, train your employees on how to use specialty breads for other sandwiches! Nobody should be charged double, for a different bread type. These modern Subway prices are already ridiculous enough as it is.
Service was fantastic, thanks to John! He was pleasant and great conversationalist.
The CBR flat bread suggestion was great and I had an enjoyable experience.
Give that man a promo to run the store!

The lady working there was rude and unhelpful. They refused to take coupons that were not expired. They had no plastic knife for cutting my salad. They had no ranch for the salad and gave no warning ahead of time. This was the worst service I have ever had at a subway and will not return to this location.

Avoid this whole Subway. The barrier prevents you from seeing them put meat and cheese on. All of my requests were completely ignored and my bacon was put on cold, but i didnt know till i got home because of the visual barrier on the meat side. Then I was charged 2.40 to add bacon to a 6", when the menu clearly says 1.19. All in all, communication was bad, sandwich was terrible, and I was overcharged, and then had to ask for my receipt as she immediately crunched it up and tossed it out without asking me, probably to hide the bacon overcharge.

Person behind the counter called my partner picky when they took a moment to decide on bread (there was no line), gave us a footling when we asked for a six inch and were charged for it. Additionally we had to tell them “no cheese” multiple times, and something is up with the green peppers, they have a funky/moldy taste I haven’t ran into before. Look, I never expect much from fast food, but I would highly recommend finding a different Subway, something tells me this one is on its last legs.

If zero stars were an option. HORRIBLE customer service!! Dirty and disgusting store. Rats outside, and the food looked like it would make anyone sick (yes, I got sick). DON'T EAT HERE.

I think they were short handed during the lunch rush. Only one woman at sandwich counter. I wish she had made me aware that you could add a soda and bag of chips for a set price instead of charging me for each separately. I also felt that the Christian music playing was out of place for a subway. The woman was pleasant and the sandwich was good. The store was clean. It just took 3 songs about God to get my food. And that's 3 songs about God too many! I think it's out of the ordinary to basically force the hungry public to to listen to christian music while waiting. It's akin to being forced to listen to talk radio or rush limbaugh.. All that said my sandwich was good ?.. And the employees at subway should tell the customers it's a fixed price to add chips and a drink (or a cookie and drink).. I feel I was over-charged.. but live and learn right? And I learned that Jesus enjoys music that I dont.. my inner sinner left with questions I hadn't asked before. Like peperoni isn't for Jesus (pork products and Jewish eating). Kum-bi-yah!!

The owner (women) cheats by not taking coupons. She owns the shop in Hillsdale as well. Her employees don't trust her.
