I’d recommend the other location a few blocks away.
This location never has orders for pickup ready by the pickup time. I ordered 40 minutes before pickup, arrived 5 minutes after my designated pickup time, and still had to wait another 10 minutes for them to make my order. What’s the point of ordering ahead if they don’t start your order until you’re at the restaurant?

Ordered on app for pickup. Order was marked ready before picking up. I had to wait another almost 10 minutes for them to start the order. When the staff member asked the manager for help, the manager said to just make the orders when Petrie arrive. This isn’ta big deal, if you don’t mark them as ready in advance! This is a recurring issue with this location.
Don’t mark orders ready for pickup and then start making them when the person arrives, or after.
Ordered a protein bowl (basically salad) where the meal is supposed to be cut up. Instead I just have a slab of meat slices.

The people that work here are just outstanding. I work for a large corporation so I understand why they have the number of employees they have. No restaurant downtown provides both counter and drive through service..... However, this place is immaculate, even the restroom looks great. I'm asked how much sauce or veggies, ect I want, I get exactly I ask for. Anything I order, it's prepared quickly, every time. Everything is fresh. I like their new offer of meal of the day. I've noticed that if I take a late lunch, I have more luck avoiding the typical lunch line. Looking forward to my next visit.
Vegetarian options: A variety of vegetables and other healthy vegetarian toppings. Subway has tuna, yummy veggie patties or cheese in place of meat. Sells veggie bowls-(really yummy salads)
Dietary restrictions: Veggie patty in place of meat, really good by the way. Veggie sandwich. Has non wheat breads.
Kid-friendliness: Restaurant is clean and kid friendly.

The employees are absolutely rude, one in particular, and look like they hate their job. I never feel welcome here, this is by far the worst subway. They don't know how to properly put together a sandwich, you end up with all veggies falling out or on one side of your sandwich when you bite into it, never looks fresh. Sauce is all over the wrapper and sandwich.

Resist temptation, don’t try the foot long pretzel, if you do, do not expect it to be soft and tasty with a freshness about it because you will be very disappointed. It is chewy and taste like stale bread and they will charge you money for the Chieese sauce. It is not included in the price, the service was friendly.

Coming from the eastern side of the country I was expecting the regular subway I’m used to, it’s not folks, this is way different, it’s more like a Chinese food style in a bowl ? food wasn’t bad, I’m not saying that, but it’s not what I was expecting to get but it’s good to know now ? I think I paid about $14 including the drink (a bottle from the fridge)

Hate to give a bad review for everyone because the other ppl working here are really nice but the guy who works here on Fridays is an idiot and . Every time I come in he’s lost in the back room and you end up having to wait 5 to 10 minutes before he even comes out.I’ve also noticed that when he’s working, the cookies are rock hard. This isn’t the case when he’s not there so this has to be his fault.And this is Portland so as you’d imagine, there’s homeless people in there eating and making it smell like piss. I also blame that on this guy because if you weren’t always in the back, you could be kicking the bums out

Everytime I visit this subway location, I get told "sorry we are on our lunch break" and refused service regardless of time of day and even when other people are being served. Frustrating because this location is the closest food place to my office. It's extremely confusing and the only thing I can think of is I'm a black man and have never seen any other black customers.
