So I’m pretty sure I got food poisoning from the oysters here. It kinda ruined my week as food poisoning does. While service and ambience were great, they need to take better care with temperatures for the oysters. Oysters are always a risk, but there’s other happy hour oyster options around town that I’ve never had a problem with.

Incredible atmosphere! But I cannot get over the fact that their drinks are pre-made. In a town with so many great bars and great bartenders, it is such a weird choice to have cocktails come out of giant dispensing taps :(

Unfortunately the staff member we encountered was terribly rude. He was very condescending towards us when we had questions about the menu and bar itself. Then told us we could not sit in the speak easy room after speaking to his friends seated on the other couch, stating that there wasn’t enough room… yet there was no one back there besides us and his friends. We really wanted to like the space, but find it very hard to justify the behavior towards us and feel like he went out of his way to be rude.

Drinks are okay, most are premixed on tap. Bartenders act like they’ve got 99 things to do more important than serving you so this was a one and done for us.
Might be better on a weekday, and especially worth it during happy hour. If you’re paying full price just go somewhere else.

Hit or miss with the music. The outside tables are usually not bussed so I’ve had to clear my own table twice. Not much room for seating inside. Cool if you want Instagram-able photos, not really anything special about the cocktails. My go to is usually a Paloma, which is very juiced downed and I never get asked if I want salt rim or tajin.. they automatically give the spicy. So I have to make a point to ask for regular salt rim.

Pat down was excessive, invasive, and aggressive. Usually have to wait till the 3rd date for that kind of action. Drinks.. awful. Staff....untrained and impolite. Vibes....meh at best.

Nice atmosphere and food! The gentleman at the bar was kind and helpful but the woman working alongside him wasn’t very friendly or helpful…staring me and my husband down and twiddling her fingers. Hate going to places that you feel like a nuisance at.
The pineapple mojito is one of the best things I’ve ever tasted. Atmosphere was really off though. It was earlier on a Saturday night and there’s no dance floor but there was early aughts hip hop (not the really good kind tho) playing at earsplitting levels. The decor and concept would make for a really chill spot if they could get a right musical fit. Service was excellent though!

They seem to have pre made mixes of drinks versus making each drink individually. Why charge $13+ for something like this? Also I was given a number for food and was sitting in back which I think bartenders knew since there was barely anyone there that night and no one came and found me to give food. I eventually went to bar and asked for my stuff and it was cold by then. Atmosphere is lovely though!
