Bartender is an absolute jerk! I panicked cuz i lost my wallet/phone which was later found behind a couch (so clearly was an intentional hide) and then he mistreats me like im the jerk! Dont wanna say racism just cuz im brown but for sure thrs some kinda hate!

The best neighborhood pub I've found, anywhere I've been. It's just a smallish place, set up for locals, but a p!ace that still takes pride and that seems an increasing rarity in PDX. Lots of friendly locals, easy to pick up a conversation (which is the only reason I go to bars).Tuesday is cheesesteak night. If you don't like fussy cheesesteak orders, these are simply the best around. If you need particulars, Grant's is the place anytime. But if you're in the neighborhood on a Tuesday -- provolone, onions, bell peppers, and pepperoncini, on a hoagie -- these are as good as it gets anywhere, really, and not outrageously expensive.Thursday is Taco night, and they do street tacos, double soft white corn tortillas with asada meat, cilantro, onion, and salsa. Also damned good food, easily filling, nutritious, and pretty cheap.And these people read, too. I mean, like, they have creative lives and internal lives, they don't seem just like work drones and burnouts (besides me, maybe). This isn't really a sports bar, though you could pick up a good debate.If you can't find peace and hospitality here, you probably want too much and will need to pay for your privilege.

I love this place, it's fucking underrated as fuck. Like seriously, they have great options that you usually find at boujee places like the Urban German in Cathedral Park... except the Radler is on tap here. They have a unicorn beer that is purple and tastes like blackberry juice. The people here are cool and nice and friendly, very Portland having fun and being brotherly. They have a dart board and a covered patio! It's cozy and relaxing inside, the food is incredibly affordable. Two words: chicken tenders. This place is great they even had a resident crazy lady who likes to hang out on a tree stump outside. I think the three bad reviews are from drunken bastards who got kicked out for being sloppy go cry about it. Love sundown and their cowboy in tight pants neon sign.

It's a neighborhood bar by my home. It's just boring tho hardly anybody ever in it. It has ok to decent beers on tap. The only thing really going for the sundown is it's one of the only bars still staying open till 2:30 am and they still can't pack this place. One of the most boring bars I've ever been in.

Hoping for a good end night. But no... Got to see awful ppl in the bar. With aggressive attitudes knocking on bathroom doors awfully. And adding bad bartender moods. Hopefully i never. Get to go to that bar again . Tremendous dissatisfied and disappointed.

Well two pol tonight acted so out of contexts should not been let in at all. I felt they where going to take down the door. While a lady in the restroom.awxful experience that i was going to stay longer but as soon i seen them. Oh no I left.asap

Got to see an awful unrespectful scene to ight. First ppl not respecting the rule men and wOMen restroom. Not giving a ?. And on top of that a long hair idk if i should call i male) and a women knocking so hard and loud multiple times when a girl just walked in to use the restroom. What a scene. Absolutely not wanting to go there no more. And add on the desert. The bartender kicking everyone out in an ugly manner. O stars i do not recommend at all.
