We had an amazing time. The service was amazing. It was the busiest time, but the waitresses were so nice and they helped us through everything and gave us refills and we’re just amazing. The staff is seriously the best and if you ever have any issues with your food, they will fix it with no problem and absolutely are so good anyway can’t say enough great things about this place. I had to make a review.

Visiting from out of state and found the diner. Opens early, bright and clean, cute decor. Food was great and not expensive. Service was excellent.

Just a nice neighborhood diner serving lots of in house made items.
Ordered Biscuits Ranchero and a slice of Cinnamon toast.
Yes this is the real deal. Biscuits fresh and fluffy, gravy had good flavor. They make their own chorizo and salsa. Give me a vat of that salsa and an bucket of tortilla chips. Yum.
Cinnamon toast was thick and toasted just right. Whipped butter and very tasty preserves rou ded out this excellent breakfast.

This diner is my Thursday morning breakfast spot. The food is good but the real reason I'm here every week is the server. Cassandra is hands-down the best food server in the city. She is personable and great at her job. If there must be a criticism of the eatery; it must be said that the decor is a bit old and faded. Still, do yourself a favor and partake of this hidden gem!

They have excellent atmosphere, yes it is crowded and you may have to wait, but boy oh boy is it ever worth it if your brought your appetite!!!! Huge portions (my friend and I always split and are stuffed) and never forget the cinnamon rolls or bread pudding!!!! This place is out of this world and everything is made fresh from scratch, they are awesome and very friendly. I cannot say enough about this place.

We asked for water and didn’t get it. After about 10 minutes waitress returned and took our order. No water. About 30 minutes later I approached the waitress and asked when we would see the food. She mumbled something, didn’t apologize, and we had it about 10 minutes later. Keep in mind they were not busy. The order included Hot cocoa (got cold choc milk), requested salsa on side (not received), did not receive toast. Service was the worse I’ve ever experienced. Over all the experience took about 90 minutes. No excuses, no apologies. I won’t go back.

Don’t order online. I showed up at the time it said, got an email it was ready, and came inside and sat and waited. 10 minutes later nothing so I ask again since I had the email. “Never order online. It’s not through us. They order it through the owner and then they send it to us” the hostess tells me. Not sure what I was supposed to say or do from there.

So much for an easy pick up breakfast and avoiding having to sit in a restaurant, because I sat there an extra 25 minutes past when it was supposed to be done, 55 minutes after I ordered it. This of course is not the in house-staff’s fault, but poor ownership/management for choosing this horrible online ordering system.

I know it’s not their fault but some front of house customer service wouldn’t have hurt. They weren’t even slightly apologetic. In fact, they went and took orders in the middle of bagging up my order at the end and generally just seemed annoyed that I was there (even tho I only asked about my order twice, once upon arriving and once to double check if the email was accurate.) it wasn’t even that busy, the restaurant was maybe 1/3-1/2 full, though there are only 2 waitresses taking orders, finishing them at the counters with condiments etc, then bringing them to everyone, PLUS dealing with front of house. It seems understaffed, so I don’t blame the employees for not being chipper. Another thing that comes down to management.

Took my gf and myself here for brunch and we were disappointed with the service and the timing. Upon arrival the gal checking us in was very dismissive, there was no greeting, it seemed like a chore for her to seat us. The guest there also seemed a bit judgmental. We’re a lesbian couple and my gf is pregnant so we were getting a lot of unwelcoming stares from not only the guests but we felt that with the lady checking us in. I will say our server was very pleasant. Customer service was welcoming from her. She was a blonde lady, she was a delight. I believe they are short staffed here. We ordered 2 entrees, a coffee and 2 orange juices. We had an appointment after that we needed to make it to (7 min away) by this time it’s 12:40 (40 min after arrival) we couldn’t stay any longer for the entrees so we asked to pay our bill so we can make it to our next stop. They didn’t charge us for the entrees but the drinks came out to $18 which I think is a bit steep. We did tip our server as it wasn’t her fault for being short staffed or the unwelcoming feeling we got from the rest of the environment. We did appreciate her very much and she apologized profusely which we let her know it was out of her control and appreciated her service with us.
