Super bland. Like everything was boiled in water. So sad they have so much time ro sing songs but dont care about the throwing uneven a little salt to make it taste better. They used to have the best 5 dollar burrito ack in the day and now they have lost It all e3ven at 13 dollars .

The food was AWEFUL!!! I got the steak burrito and it had no flavor, the meat was tough and chewy. The cheese was like cheap government cheese. To make it worse the guy at the counter was VERY RUDE and the restaurant smelled musty!!! I also woke up the next morning with food poisoning. Stay away from this place!!!!

Sadly today was it, after not stopping for a year, the food was far worse than last time. I can forgive the bad attitude from the counter dude as he has been there forever but the food was really bad. First was the flavor of scorched rice, yuck. Far worse was a sour bite 2/3 into the burrito, not sour tart, old sponge sour. Round canned the remainder and made a promise to myself - never going back.

So, sweet tamales are my new obsession and Super Torta is one of the few places in town I’ve been able to find them. It’s somewhat hidden on the menu, too—but they are listed at the end of the tamale options.

The sweet tamales have masa flavored with fruit and pineapple chunks inside. Not overly sweet—more like a pastry than a dessert or cake. Very unique and delightful!

The other tamales are well made and tasty, as well. The masa has great texture and the tamales are large. :)

Steak piano was more like beef jerky. Quite dried out then quickly reheated on a grill and thrown into a burrito. If I had been closer I would have returned it and asked for money back.

Refuses or won’t let you add certain meats to customize your dish even if you pay extra

A comfortable and delicious place to have a graduation breakfast with my granddaughter.
This is NOT our first time here, and it won't be the last! 😋😋

The southeast Portland Woodstock neighborhood institution.
Solid basic Mexican food. Good service, friendly staff who have been there for as long as I can remember.
My go to place for Mexican comfort food for more than 15 years. The burritos are massive!

Very authentic. Flat for my taste. Not a chips and salsa fun vibe. Just ok.
