Very disappointing experience. Barista was extremely rude, and made our whole party very uncomfortable wouldn’t answer any questions or explain anything about the coffees or the menu

Stopped in on my way to work because of all the great reviews. Coffee is great and staff is wonderful! Will be coming by again.

Try the beans. Introductions to Chinese coffee beans.
Schzuan Peppercorn Mocha: Very Mexican hot chocolate inspired; quite delicious.
Espresso: Solid, rich, smooth and sweet with a hint of acidity.
First time visiting Portland and heard that this was a place to visit for coffee.
I’m not an avid coffee drinker but I do enjoy a good cup of coffee once in a while. This place had some great lattes that I highly enjoyed. I also had their vegan breakfast sandwich only because I don’t eat pork. Delicious. When I go visit again I will come to this spot first thing!

The cafe was conveniently located from my hotel and the barista was friendly enough, however the maple oat latte did not impress. I could barely taste the espresso. It wasn't overpowered by the maple, because that was also very subtle in taste. I was really hoping to be blown away by Portland's coffee and so far, nothing yet ... maybe I just haven't found the cafe for me.
I ended up picking up another espresso just shortly after finding another cafe close by.

Magnificent espresso-based coffees; hands down the best in more than 20 Portland cafes I’ve tried. If you like specialty coffee, this is for you. Owner also roasts small-batch beans on site. Baristas are all outstanding. (Note: only few food options and limited seating).

Cozy shop. Had a perfectly subtle rose latte and a nice chat. I hope to visit again soon.

I ordered a dirty chai with three shots of espresso but it tasted like a latte. I also got a blueberry muffin. Nothing really stood out. It's not a horrible place but I probably won't go back. My drink was more milk than espresso and chai flavour.

Stopped for a cup of coffee while doing Caraline's Curious Cat Trail. Quick friendly service, fine coffee served in an old-fashioned blue metal camping cup.
