OMG! If you enjoy burgers and especially smashed burgers then this place will serve you right. I came here to grab beers from Oakshire and since they're next to each other, I wanted to try their burger. I'm glad that I did because this is my new favorite smash burger joint. There are a few options bit they're all yummy. There is plenty of street parking so that shouldn't be an issue.

LOVED this place when they were on Canyon. Now they've moved and they got rid of their DREAM LIKE curly fries. But kept the spicy ketchup. Either way the burger is delicious and perfect everytime. New location is a on a busy street so still have parking issues from time to time

So my husband and I drove from Hillsboro to Portland on a rainy Saturday to try out this delicious food cart. We saw it once near a Beer Garden in Tigard, the week after they closed and I was so disappointed I had to find them and try them. First off, the outdoor seating is abundant! Super great area, and dogs were allowed (or at least we saw a few). The parking wasn't terrible and just across the street is a consignment shop which was fun to walk around. Now for the star of the show; FOOD! My husband and I ordered the 1. Hatch Chile Burger: this was literal perfection with a crispy burger skirt. They do these burgers right with the perfect smash. I will say it wasn't as greasy as I was expecting and I was pleased!!! 2. Crispy Brussel: loved this side! Nice idea of feeling healthy while I scarf down a burger, but such delicious flavors 3. Hatch Chile Fries: so this was my only sad note. The flavors were great, however the cheese sauce is sooooo thin that it made the fries super soggy so quick! My first bite was already soggy and I hate that feeling. Would probably not order again and just get regular fries for myself! Overall, I loved the food, however the knock of a star was just on pricing and the gooey fries! Maybe if the cheese sauce was thicker it would be better. However still think this place is great and would come back, especially for that BURGER!

Does its genre of burger very well. I'm a fan of the hatch burger. Fries are crispy and fresh, sauces tasty and on point. Service is prompt, friendly, and professional.

Amazing smash burger. Tried them a while back when they were Rough Draft. Honestly, 10/10 and I can't wait to go back. They are simple (and I mean that in the best way possible), have the crispy patty that a smash burger should have, and are just all around amazing. Pro tip: if you're ordering fries, get a side of every sauce. You won't regret it. The garlic ranch + the spicy ketchup are out of this world.

A neat burger spot, recently moved to NE 42nd Ave outside Oakshire Beer Hall. Super simple menu, my favorite aspects of which are the bag-o-burgers and the option to sub an Impossible patty. They have fries, of course, but brussels are a nice addition. Friendly staff. They do get busy so be prepared for a little wait - enjoy a beer at Oakshire next door, perhaps. Amongst all the possible burger options and forms out there, the best comparison I can make for these burgers is that they're "McDonalds" style. That's meant as a compliment - they're delicious.

Started with welcoming, friendly service. I ordered a double hatch chili burger, fries, and Brussels sprouts. It was all delicious! My son had the impossible burger which he also said was very good. We'll definitely be back again.
The best burger you'll ever eat!!! The deep fried brussel sprouts are to die for!!! The French fries are crispy and hot. Everything is perfect!!

Used to be Rough draft burger- they shut down for a while, changed their name, adjusted the menu and here we are. One thing that didn't change was the great burgers! I have had their original and thought it was great. This time I had the Hatch Chili burger. One of the best burgers I have ever eaten. Unreal! Not to spicy, perfect blend of chill, aoli, and cheese. Amazing!

One of the BEST smashies in Portland! We visited their Scholls Ferry location server times. Since they sold that location we have been patiently waiting for their new location. New location is situated perfectly right next to Oakshire Brewing. We ordered our smashies, one single and a double. while we waited we sauntered into Oakshire for a hazy ipa and a hard seltzer. Our burgers came quickly and perfectly juicy smashie. The crispy edges are incredible, topped with a signature burger sauce and all that melty cheese goodness!

Decided to give this place a try in 2021 after seeing article in local major newspaper. Glad I did. Ate here frequently and never was disappointed. That said, VERY SAD they are moving!! Best wishes, Sure Shot Burger!!
