It’s a really disheartening situation when you get declined to eat at an establishment because of you service dog. Service Animals are protected under the rules for Titles II and III of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). This means that service animals must be allowed any place the public is allowed, including restaurants. It really sucks because my family and I have eaten at this same place numerous times before but this was the ONE time where they told us to provide proof or they won’t serve us.

This spot used to be my favorite reasonably priced conveyor sushi place. But today I was stopped at the front entrance because I have a service dog with me. Not only did they request license papers, which is illegal because of the personal medical information that those typically contain, but I was refused service because I denied to comply with that request. I will be reporting this to Oregon's Better Business Bureau.
I don't understand what changed since my last visit to this restaurant. I've visited with my service animal several times without any issues before today. Its very disappointing. So, to anyone else with invisible disabilities like myself, be warned. This establishment is not service animal friendly, and the manager clearly doesn't care about obeying any laws having to do with them. It would be best to steer clear of this one.

Food is consistently good. Servers are friendly and quick. The conveyor belt is always well stocked but if you order off the menu service is still quick. Prices are good as well. Definitely recommend.
