I almost always go to Indian buffets, but went here as I was nearby for an appointment. I am so glad I went, the lunch specials are AMAZING! I got the chicken and my boyfriend got the goat. The meat is so tender and everything is cooked so well and super fresh. The dal was SPOT ON and perfectly spiced. We also tried the lamb samosa and they were so meaty and cooked to perfection! The mint and tomato chutneys were both amazing.
While we were on our Portland trip, we stopped here for dinner. The food was really good — their goat biryani was super tasty! The flavor is a mix of Hyderabadi and Arabian styles, and it tasted amazing. It reminded me of the juicy grilled mutton Mandi at Hyderabad.
Swagat has been a go to place for years and on my last visit I have to say I was a bit disappointed. Placed an order online for pickup and when I get there my order is missing. Staff mistakenly gave my food away. I understand mistakes happen but took almost 30 mins just to get my food and get everything sorted out. Upon getting my food home, ordered lamb biryani, the lamb was super tough like it had been overcooked or been sitting out for a long time. Wife's chicken curry...
